Walking aboard SANDBANK from the stern passerelle, you step onto the main deck aft which features an oversized teak table with 8 loose dining chairs as well as a moveable, large couch. The space is shaded by the bridge deck and features clear bulwarks looking aft, allowing incredible sea views to flood the space. Looking forward, a staircase to port, just around the corner on the side deck, leads to the upper deck aft. Side decks are located on both port and starboard side, with the port side culminating in the entrance to the galley, and the starboard side leading to a staircase to the foredeck. There is a wing station on the starboard side aft deck and a sink on the port side. Boarding gates are located amidship on both starboard and port. Looking aft from the main deck, a dual staircase on both port and starboard, leads down to a generously sized swim platform. The tender garage, which opens upward, features a built-in, overhead shower and storage for the 15’ (4.5m) tender.

Continuing forward from the main deck aft and entering through electric sliding doors, you walk into SANDBANK’s open and comfortable main salon. Accented by stunning, oversized windows, the space is flooded with incredible natural light. Glass bulwarks on both port and starboard bring the outdoors in, really connecting those on board with the sea. Stunning oak floors and cabinetry, designer lighting, titanium accents, and modern, eco-friendly furniture from Amsterdam based design studio, Phathom, give the space a comfortable and elegant vibe. A drop-down TV on the starboard side provides endless entertainment and overhead speakers provide outstanding sound quality throughout.

The dining area is forward of the main salon, separated by additional, low, cabinetry. The table, created from Eramosa Bronn Marble, seats up to 12, and was chosen for its specific grains, giving the same feeling and mood to that of natural wood. A bespoke design element is featured in the table, with the overhead light fixture “mirrored” in the design.

Moving forward from the dining area to starboard, is the floating staircase to the sky lounge as well as access to the lower staterooms. Created in a travertino natural marble with polished silver, the staircase is flooded by natural light from an overhead sky light. Across from the staircase is a guest entrance door to the starboard side deck. Continuing forward is as a crew access door to the laundry space with over/under washer/dryer units and a sink, A beautiful dayhead is located to starboard, featuring an oversized window and toilet/bidet combination.

Forward of the dayhead is the entrance to the Master Stateroom. Upon entering the stateroom to starboard is a low storage cabinet with drawers. To port is the entrance to the dressing area, as well as the beautifully appointed en-suite. The dressing area features four hanging closets with both drawer and shelf storage integrated as well as a built-in safe. Upon first entering the en-suite your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning floor-to-ceiling glass rain shower and large rectangular window. Featuring a full width stone seat/ledge and built-in shelving, the space oozes with elegance thanks to a beautiful, lightly marbled, sintered stone. Rounding out the ensuite are his and her deep sinks with large, backlit mirror, and undercounter shelving and drawer space. The toilet/bidet combination is located across from the two sinks.

Back inside the master stateroom and moving forward, it is impossible not to be immediately awed by the spectacular, overhead, glass-bottom pool, which brings a shimmering kaleidoscope of blues and whites to the space. Located directly above the king-sized bed, the pool can be closed off by either a full blackout shade or sun reduction screen, should one desire. Interior elements throughout the cabin, as well as the rest of the vessel, are staggered, creating a more dynamic and interesting space. Built-in shelving flanks both sides of the suede headboard, as do two floating nightstands. Completing the master is a built-in desk/makeup vanity with drawer and cabinet storage to starboard, a sofa to port with floating side table and a 75” television that is inlaid into the bulwark and located directly across from the bed. Additional integrated cabinetry is located below the television and to port.

Back in the dining room and continuing forward to port, is the entrance to the stew pantry and galley. The stew pantry, featuring cabinet and drawer storage, as well as counter space, also houses a large icemaker. Moving forward from the stew pantry is the large commercial galley, featuring Miele appliances. Two windows bring natural light to the space. Additional access to the laundry room is provided from the galley, giving the crew two access points to laundry.

Continuing on, five additional staterooms are located amidship down the guest staircase on the starboard side of the main deck. Starting aft, two double-bed staterooms are located on both port and starboard sides. These two cabins mirror each other, with large, rectangular windows, hanging closets, built-in cabinetry for storage, two nightstands, and 32” inlaid televisions. The en-suites for these two staterooms feature large windows in glass door showers, and single sinks with storage below. The showers also feature full-width seats/ledges. These staterooms, as well as the remaining three staterooms, feature the same suede headboards and siltered stone throughout as the master stateroom. Additionally, all the guest cabins, including the master, provide universal outlets, USB charging ports, and USB-C charging ports.

Moving forward and walking past the staircase, an integrated door to port can separate the two double staterooms from two twin-bed staterooms which mirror each other, as well as a double VIP suite, furthest forward. The two twin staterooms feature rectangular shaped windows, hanging closets, inlaid mounted 32” televisions, and a shared central nightstand. The VIP suite features six portholes, a desk/make-up vanity with loose chair, lower cabinet storage with plentiful counterspace on both sides of the bed, built-in shelving on both sides of the headboard, an inlaid 32” television, and three hanging closets. The ensuites for these three cabins also feature either windows or portholes, glass door showers and single sinks with storage below. The VIP ensuite also has built-in wall shelving inside both the shower and next to the toilet/bidet combination, as well as storage behind the mirror.

Back on the starboard side main deck and up the floating staircase to the asymmetric upper deck, one immediately notices the previously mentioned skylight, flooding both the staircase and sky lounge with abundant natural light. At the top of the staircase is a dayhead with window. Moving into the sky lounge, which thanks to the asymmetric layout, has more interior volume while still respecting guest and crew movements on board. A large and modern L-shaped sofa is located to starboard with three floating side tables and a loose bucket chair aft. Across from the sofa is a beautiful bar with integrated 65” television. Behind the bar are all the amenities to make any day at sea enjoyable, including an under-counter beverage refrigerator, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, and sink. Large windows flank both sides of the sky lounge, providing another opportunity for guests to bring the outdoors in.

Moving aft through electrical sliding doors is the bridge deck aft, with interior features like ceiling and wall paneling carried into the space to give a more convincing feeling of indoor/outdoor living. Four teak chairs with hemp fabric and a coffee table accent the space, as do a sink, under counter beverage refrigerator, and grill to starboard. Overhead, an Opacmare louvred ceiling can be opened or closed to allow ventilation and/or additional natural light in. Further aft are four, open loungers with moveable headrests for the ultimate in relaxation and comfort, as well as glass bulwarks for incredible, uninterrupted views. Two teak side tables double as beverage holders.

Standing on the bridge deck aft and looking forward to port, is access to the foredeck and glass bottom pool, as well as a staircase to the main deck aft. Continuing forward on the port side deck, one passes one of two exterior entrances to the pilothouse. Once past the pilothouse, it is easy to see why SANDBANK is so spectacular. The stunning glass bottom, rectangular pool with intricate tilework is a true work of art. Flanked by large sunpads, the space is a sunbather’s dream. Directly aft of the pool is a U-shaped settee with two built-in tables, making the space the perfect place to catch a sunset or enjoy some privacy. Forward of the pool is an additional built-in seating area, perfect for watching dolphins catch a ride on bow waves.

Back inside one of the exterior pilothouse doors, located on either the port or starboard side, is the state-of-the-art pilothouse featuring large windows and an L-shaped settee with expandable table. An interior door to the pilothouse, at the top of the stairs and located just outside the dayhead, closes off the space should guests prefer more privacy or care to join the captain for the day’s cruise. A handheld controller provides easy docking from anywhere on the yacht.

Access to the crew’s accommodations is through an exterior door on the main deck aft, to port. A generously sized crew mess with table and banquette seating on both sides provides a space for the crew to relax. The crew galley, featuring a large refrigerator, sink, microwave, and dishwasher, complements the space. Three crew cabins, all with over/under single bunks and separate en-suites comfortably accommodate six crew. Access to the engine room is aft of the crew mess.

The engine room, aft of the crew mess and accessed through the same exterior entrance on the port side main deck, features MAN V12-1900 engines which are Tier III compliant, Zenoro generators, and an Atlas shorepower converter. SANDBANK also features Humphree electric-fin stabilizers for at-rest stabilization, two watermakers, 3 MAR-IX a/c chillers, and a Tecnicomer sewage system. The space is easy to maneuver and access to equipment is easily achievable.
