Santa Maria T is a 36.8-metre Van der Valk Explorer, delivered in 2015 to her first and only owner. Built in steel with an aluminium superstructure, she combines genuine ocean-going capability with exceptional comfort, volume and distinctive Dutch design.
With 320 GT, 33,000 litres of fuel and a range of approximately 3,600 nautical miles, Santa Maria T is designed for extended passages and long-range exploration. Her twin Volvo Penta D16 MH engines deliver 651 hp each, supported by two 55 kW generators. At cruising speed, with both generators running, fuel consumption is approximately 90 litres per hour in total, making her remarkably efficient for a yacht of this size.
Santa Maria T was the first yacht delivered with a two-axis fin stabilisation system, providing stabilisation both underway and at zero speed without compromising performance.
Her interior, designed by Guido de Groot, is immediately distinctive. The striking Art Nouveau style creates a warm and highly individual atmosphere throughout, with the spacious main saloon connecting seamlessly to the aft deck through large four-way folding stainless-steel doors.
The aft deck features a generous eight-person dining area, creating an inviting space for outdoor dining and entertaining.
Accommodation is provided for up to eight guests and six crew, including the captain. With her generous volume, robust construction and long-range capabilities, Santa Maria T offers a compelling combination of exploration, comfort and character.
