JERSEY'S have earned the reputation among East Coast Fisherman for their rugged hull construction, excellent fishability and efficient layouts.

The 42CSF has flowing lines and a graceful profile which has kept her design distinctive even by today's high glitz convertible standards.

The 42 rides on a low dead-rise, solid fibreglass hull with relatively deep keel, and her flat after sections make her quick to accelerate out of the hole.

Her layout feature a forward owners stateroom with a center-line queen berth, a guest cabin to port with over under bunks, a Vacuflush ships head, sink with vanity and a separate stand-up shower. The ships galley is to starboard with a full size refrigerator freezer, large stainless steel sink, electric range, oven, microwave and abundant storage. The dinette is opposite to starboard and converts to a double berth. The salon is comfortably laid out and features a convertible sofa, chair, entertainment center.

The cockpit, partially shaded by the flybridge overhang, is very spacious and permateak deck, engine controls to starboard, molded tackle center, large transom door and bolsters.

Additional features include a large flybridge with guest seating forward forward of the helm. There are wide side-decks, bow pulpit and electric windless.

She is driven by twin Detroit 6-71's and has a Northern Lights 8kw Generator.

The Jersey 42 Convertible Sportfisherman is 45 feet, 4 inches long, including pulpit. She has a 15-foot, 8-inch beam. Jersey Yachts are luxury convertible sedans and flybridge sportsfishing yachts ranging in size from 36 to 50 feet. Jerseys are built with 'hand-laid' fiberglass, powered with high-performance diesel engines, and equipped with generators, air-conditioning, full galleys and staterooms to accommodate six to eight people in elegant comfort. Jerseys offer modern interior arrangements and amenities and incorporate traditional handcrafted joinery. As semi-custom yachts, the buyer has choices of cabin layout, furnishings, and interior color treatments. Numerous engine options are available, and builders work closely with engine suppliers to ensure the power package configuration meets the buyer's requirements. The proprietary Turbolift hull allows for easy pushing and a fast, stable ride. These boats utilize an advanced fiberglass technology that reduces weight while providing superior strength. This makes possible the use of power systems that deliver both fuel economy and performance.
