Layout from forward to aft:

The forward cabin has a V-berth innerspring mattress. There are bookshelves outboard above the berth. Aft to starboard is a seat and locker. The overhead hatch is equipped with a Skycreen.

The forward head is next to port with a Jabsco fresh water flush head, a separate stall shower with shower sump pump, Corian countertop, sink, teak vanity with mirror, and lockers.

Main saloon with U-shaped settee to port with table and bench seats inboard. There is a straight settee to starboard. Blue upholstery and runner rug. There is an amazing amount of light from three forward windows, side windows, and overhead hatch with Skyscreen.

The forward-facing navigation station is next aft to starboard.

 The U-shaped galley is aft to port.

The master cabin is aft with a centerline berth custom SleepOnLatex queen mattress. There are cedar-lined hanging lockers and deep drawers. There is an ensuite head with a separate stall shower with a sump pump, teak framed mirror, Corian countertops, and Jabsco fresh water flush head (rebuilt 2023).

The Hunter 44 Deck Salon is an innovative cruiser with a performance orientated hull drawn by noted designer and racer, Glenn Henderson, Hunter's Chief Designer. Following on the heals of the tremendously successful Hunter 356, the 44 shares the same sailing attributes. Like the 356, the 44 carries the beam well aft, but the additional beam does not hinder performance or sea keeping ability, it actually enhances it. Wide windows and ports offer a real panorama and the creative layout allows for two full staterooms with two full heads with separate stall showers. Continuing to innovate and go more upscale, this Hunter will offer special amenities such as flat-screen television and Bose Audio systems as standard. Galley appliances are stainless steel and surrounded by genuine Corian countertops. Innerspring mattresses are standard in both spacious staterooms and there is even a special desk/office area in the master.
