Skidbladnir is a 57' metal commercial vessel built at the historical Stord Verft Norwegian Shipyard. She features 3 cabins, a galley, mess, upper helm station, aft and forward storage areas, and functional hydraulic windlass along with an aft winch. Commissioned in 1960 she was initially used as a Norwegian rescue ship, she then went into service as as a Swedish rescue ship until 1998 (undergoing a repower to her current Volvo Penta TAMD121D power plant in 1988). She went into private ownership at that time and landed in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2000. Skidbladnir eventually made her way to Palatka, Florida and is currently moored in East Palatka, FL on the St. Johns River.
