Proven Cruiser – Exceptionally Equipped and Ready to Sail
Solimar is a beautifully outfitted 2005 Hunter 41 Aft Cockpit that has been thoughtfully upgraded and maintained by just two experienced owners. Purpose-built for both comfort and capability, she combines Hunter’s spacious, bright interior layout with serious offshore features, extensive solar power, and redundancy across all major systems.
The first owner equipped Solimar for performance and passagemaking with a Selden mast, Norlam fully-battened mainsail, free-flying staysail, stainless bowsprit, and custom stainless arch supporting davits, a watermaker, and twin 135 W solar panels.
The second (current) owner enhanced her further for self-sufficiency, adding 400 W additional solar, Starlink, and numerous system renewals from 2023 through 2025. Both owners cruised her extensively between California and Mexico—she is proven, capable, and ready to go again.
Whether you’re setting off for a Channel Islands getaway or planning a longer bluewater adventure, Solimar is ready to take you there in style, safety, and comfort.
