Why a trimaran? They say they sail/handle better than a catamaran as they feel like a monohull. They are much faster than a monohull maintaining speeds above 10knts on all points of sail in just as little as 10knts and without the 40 degree heel. It definitely a bonus when you are fast, safe and comfortable sailing across an ocean.
With a beam of 10M the nets give the crew living space to have fun and bring all the toys. They also give a strong and safe platform to make a strong seaworthy boat that has been tested in the harsh seas of Brittany.
