“TRUE COUP”

A proven American sportfisherman, TRUE COUP is built on the Bertram 54's famous deep-V fiberglass hull, a design long respected for handling rough water and a favorite among serious anglers.

She has had three owners in total, including one who cared for and improved her for more than 26 years. Private showings are available on request.

Layout and Performance

Below, she offers three staterooms and three heads. Twin Detroit Diesel 12V71T engines (900 hp) push her to a cruising speed of 24 to 25 knots. The port engine was rebuilt in 2020 and has about 100 hours on it, while the starboard engine has about 900 hours.

A 15KW Westerbeke generator replaced the two original Onan units.

Upgrades and Condition

She has been steadily improved over the years, including custom changes to the original design:

New fiberglass hardtops over the console and tower
Full fishing tower
Fresh paint
Garmin electronics upgraded about 10 years ago
Interior refreshed about 10 years ago and well maintained
