Constructed by Everglades Boats, Inc. in Edgewater, Florida of FRP (Fiberglass) in 2009, WHATEVER is a triple-powered outboard, center console, fishing boat, known as an Everglades 350 CC. WHATEVER was designed and built as an offshore fishing machine. The hull construction is from a female mold, hand laid up, using appropriate layers of matte, cloth and woven roving with resin. There is a gel coat finish on the exterior portions of the vessel. The deck and superstructure are of the same type of construction; however, the deck has a nonskid pattern on the walking surface and is cored.
There are transverse bulkheads, intermittent framing and longitudinal stringers along with a deck-to-hull joint that gives the vessel its rigidity and stiffness. Boarding the vessel over the side and stepping into the reasonably-sized, aft cockpit, there is a bait tank in the transom on the port side and a fish box in the center. Behind the transom, attached to the integral swim platform/outboard bracket, are three (3) outboard motors, bolted on. From this aft area, looking forward, there is a bait prep area with a sink, cutting area and storage. This is incorporated into the back of the helm seats, there are two (2). Beneath the helm seat is the location of the batteries. In the bait prep area is a fish-fighting chair that folds into the cabinet. There are also two (2) bench seats that fold into the transom. Looking forward from this area, the helm area is protected with an FRP hard top, and a tempered glass windshield. There are engine controls and navigational aids in this protected area. In front of the helm, in the console itself, there is a door on the port side giving access to this area. There is a marine toilet and shower, as well as a small berth.
Continuing forward, in the "V" of the hull, is a table that retracts electronically, up and down. Beneath this whole area is storage (rods, tackle and other gear). This whole area has an optional set of cushions to become a berth.
WHATEVER has been well taken care of and is ready for her next owner. She is sitting in the water ready to drive off the dock.
