"WHIMBREL"’s interior provides comfortable accommodations for two, has a separate head with shower, and a galley. The interior is finished in satin-varnished cherry, including sheathing. The cabin sole is varnished teak & holly.

Next aft of the hanging locker to starboard is a private head with a solid cherry door.
Galley (Port)
The Galley is to port with an White Corian countertop with a stainless steel sink with Scandvik faucet and hot and cold pressure water. The two-burner propane stove is set in the countertop forward and has a wooden cover to increase countertop space. The Adler Barber refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a lift-up top. A “pantry” locker with louvered door and interior shelves and a flip-up fiddled top separates the galley from the V-berth area. Additional storage located under the galley sink.
The cockpit coamings are finished in varnished teak. Two cockpit scuppers provide direct overboard drainage, ensuring efficient water runoff. There is transom seating, motor box seating and helm and companion seating under the hardtop.
The hull is built with Dual Guard composite construction utilizing Kevlar, E-glass hybrid and balsa core SCRIMP with Vinylester resin, the deck and cockpit are E-glass and balsa core, molded with polyester resin. This results in a lighter, stiffer, and stronger structure than conventional fiberglass construction. The forward and side decks have a molded-in nonskid pattern.
The engine is housed in an electric lifting heavily constructed and insulated motor-box for easy access. This also provides additional seating
The electrical system has a low resistance, heavy copper and zinc anode electrical bonding system.
