Windigo Boat | 51' Beneteau 2003

WINDIGO is a 2003 Beneteau 50’ aft-cockpit, 2 cabin, semi-custom owner’s version, fiberglass masthead rigged cruising sloop. Never been on charter, privately used only. This boat is the perfect cruising sailboat, recognized for its elegance, exceptional comfort, and excellent performance under sail.

Designed by renewed Farr Yacht Design, it combines a fast and stable hull with generous interior volumes, ideal for long-distance sailing, club racing, as well as life on board.

Powered by a 100hp Yanmar engine and equipped with bow thruster, generator and reverse-cycle air conditioning, she is well set up for straightforward handling and comfortable living aboard. Her spacious teak cockpit with twin wheels provides excellent visibility and a secure, sociable area whether sailing or relaxing at anchor.

On deck, its spacious and ergonomic cockpit allows for safe and enjoyable navigation, whether with a small crew or family. Enjoy practical cruising amenities such as davits, Full Bimini-Dodger with side screens enclosure, and a full safety inventory including life rafts. The davits keep the dinghy securely in place while sailing and allow easy launching and recovery. The outboard engine is easy to be moved with the dedicated davits.

Below decks, the cherry wood interior is bright and welcoming with generous headroom, excellent storage, and a layout designed for extended stays aboard. The large forward owner’s cabin, two heads compartments, and flexible guest accommodation make her ideal for family cruising or hosting friends in comfort.

Her sail wardrobe includes in-mast furling main and furling genoa by Quantum, a spinnaker, and storm jib—ideal for varied wind conditions. Additional highlights include a teak cockpit and robust tankage for long passages.

The maneuvers are well organized, with the majority of sheet lines accessible in the cockpit as well as a deck layout that promotes safe movement. Set up for offshore cruising with grab rails and safety bars for safe on-deck movements.

The Navigation station is equipped with all the navigation and communication equipment you will need when cruising. The Galley features a holding plate freezer and a separate refrigerator compartment. Plenty of storage throughout makes this boat an ideal choice for the serious sailor
