Are you ready to take over the helm and explore for yourself?
This vessel is in amazingly good shape in spite of its age. Deck looks like it just came out of the factory!
At age 15, anyone would want new electronics, but all are functional! At age 15, a Professional Rigger's Inspection reported only minor flaws, given how robust Catalina rigs are.In my opinion, at over $50,000 lower than the next few comps, the Seller has it Priced to Sell!
This original owner has sailed extensively over the years, including the canals of France thanks to its shoal keel.

The 445's hull form is optimized to provide the gentle, predictable motion underway, which is so appreciated in other Catalina models. The deck is strikingly handsome with a low profile cabin structure, twin helm stations and a roomy cockpit with tall, secure comfortable coamings and a cockpit table that seats 4-6. The deck is finished with a traditional diamond-patterned non-skid. The owner's cabin is forward for privacy and optimum ventilation. Private head access from the forward cabin along with an electric head and separate shower complete the forward cabin arrangement. The guest cabin is aft with a large comfortable double berth, angled for easy access and greater headroom. This design incorporates an innovative cabin on the port side. This cabin is a flexible space that can easily be converted to whatever your cruising style dictates at the time-sleeping quarters, storage, or a work room with a bench. The galley has the storage and features needed for extended cruising.
Yanmar 54 hp engine has 3888 hours.
Always Well Maintained, performed the 3500 scheduled maintenance at 3400 hours in 2021, replacing injectors, piston rings, gaskets, and heat exchanger.
Upgraded in 2017 to a Northern Lights 6.5 kW diesel generator, installed in the aft section of the third cabin. It has approximately 410 hours
Propeller is a 3 blade flexfold with delot rope cutter.
All batteries were replaced in April 2022.
Bottom was painted January 2023.
A/C units are original, and in good working order.
We have recently emptied out the boat completely into show room condition, and taken photos of all the drawers and cabinets open to show how much storage there is.
You will notice the galley has cabinets above and below that have fixtures to keep pots, pans, cups, and dishes steady underway.
Catalina builds their boats with a stronger Standing Rigging than the competition. Proof of that is the Professional Rigger's Report ordered last January, indicating it is in very good condition, with only minor flaws in the running rigging, which is currently being replaced. A Rigger's Report can help satisfy an Insurance Company.
