We wanted to write to you to express the immense gratitude and appreciation we have for your company and one of your yacht brokers.

We live in St. Kitts and have been earnestly looking for a yacht for some time. Our search has taken us through several web sites, around the islands and a trip to Miami, to no avail. Fortunately we found your web site earlier this year and were instantly impressed with the lay out and all it had to offer. We requested details of 3 or 4 boats.

We had an almost immediate response form one of your Yacht Brokers, Chris Carbonell.  Chris proved to have exceptional knowledge, expertise and professionalism – plus patience – perhaps beyond the call of duty. We wavered from looking at Bertrams even to a 55′ racing catamaran with surface piercing props! Chris talked with us and advised us and helped us to focus on our requirements and shorten our wish list.

A viewing trip was arranged and Chris kindly picked us up from Miami airport despite it being the evening of the 4th of July, this of course took him away from his family at a very family oriented time, but he made us feel instantly at ease and welcome.

Chris gave us all the time we needed during that week of viewing. It was during the first viewing of the first boat that it became apparent that Chris had a great deal of knowledge regarding the construction of boats and boat building in general. Later in the trip we learned that he was a fully certified hull surveyor. At the end of the week, wholly due to Chris’s time, knowledge, and expertise, we had chosen our dream boat. We actually shocked ourselves, we are not people to rush in to decisions but Chris made it easy for us on all levels of the choosing and purchasing process.

Chris’ help had just begin. Even though he was not the listing broker for the boat we were buying he gave us a 110% of his time. We flew back to St. Kitts and Chris arranged for the hull survey, the engine survey and haul out. He checked every detail on our behalf and kept us fully informed. Nothing was too much for him. All surveys came back acceptable but with an older yacht that hadn’t been used to much for three years there were many jobs to be done before we brought her back to St. Kitts.

Chris negotiated the sale and our purchase of the boat and we returned to Fort Lauderdale to sign the contracts. The yacht survey was full of recommendations as well as necessities plus there were all the things we personally wanted done. We had to have everything done in Fort Lauderdale as there are absolutely no facilities for such things in St. Kitts.

After 15 weeks of extensive and varied works being carried out the boat is about to be shipped to us. For 15 weeks Chris Carbonell has overseen every job on the boat, advised on every job on the boat, checked every job on the boat. Chris has arranged the shipping, arranged the insurance, introduced us to reliable tradesmen and companies and done 1,000 other jobs for us at the same time. Chris has gone beyond the call of duty on many, many occasions.

To summarize, we have no doubt that we would not be thrilled owners of a 46′ Hatteras in excellent condition if it were not for the friendliness, professionalism, expertise and knowledge of Chris.
