Boaters: Be prepared with our complete list of requirements for Bahamas entry.
Bahamas is currently in Phase 1 of re-opening, which allows boaters, yachters, and private aviation to enter the country. As boaters prepare to travel to the Bahamas, the proper documents before arrival is necessary.
Before You Travel:
1. Download + submit the travel health form online. This is necessary for all travelers, and without it, you will be denied entry. Fill out the form here.
2. Get tested within 10 days of your departure date, all boaters must get a Covid-19 PCR Swab Test and present the negative result upon arrival. Any test result older than 10 days will not be accepted. Find a Florida test site location near you here.
3. Boaters must inform Bahamian marinas of their arrival at least 48 hours prior.
Customs + Immigration Forms:
Complete and print all required forms to present at arrival.
All boats staying in the Bahamas for up to 3 months must pay entry fees.
• Boats up to 34 feet: $150
• Boats 35-99 feet: $300
• Boats 100-149 feet: $500
• Boats 150-200 feet: $800
• Boats over 200 feet: $1,000
Upon Arrival In Bahamas:
• Boaters who disembark must be subject to any other test mandated by Ministry of Health.
• Passengers and crew must wear a mask while in port.
General Practices:
• Continue social distancing measures (3 to 6 feet apart)
• Continue regular hand washing
• Continue to wear face masks when appropriate
• Vessel Sanitizing:
• Before passengers board
• Between passenger exchanges
• On high touch surfaces
• At the end of every day
