I had been looking for a boat for a few months before I was introduced to Paul Denton Jr. and I will tell you that I had put all yacht brokers into the same category as a used car salesman. I was so disgusted by the way the first three brokers I was dealing with conducted business that I was just going to have to look for boats that were for sale by owners. Then I was introduced to Paul. Although I still had my doubts, Paul was confident he could earn my business and find the best boat for me. Paul took the time to ask me questions about what I wanted/expected from a new boat and after that conversation, he steered me in a different direction than I was originally looking. Thank goodness this young man not only knows his boats but also knows how to listen and will make suggestions based on his experience. I went from almost buying a 2001 68 Ferretti to actually closing on a 2019 Regal 42 Fly and I am so grateful for Paul. I am a business owner myself and I will tell you, you have a rare breed with Paul–my suggestion is to consider yourself very lucky that he hangs his hat with you. He never once even hesitated to go see a boat, no matter where it was. From South Carolina to Puerto Rico, Paul was ready to go. If you knew me as a person, you would know that I’m a one- or two-sentence response kind of person, but Paul is every bit worth this review. I will buy all my future boats from Paul and will only refer him to any potential buyers I run into.
