Press Event at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Sarah Nadler | October 25, 2023

Denison Yachting highlighted its milestones and achievements at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show at a press event held aboard a Numarine 26XP on the first day of the show.

Heading the event was Denison President & Founder Bob Denison who spoke about a number of topics, including that Denison is showcasing the largest display of 80-foot-plus yachts at the show for the last four years. This year, Denison has 12 yachts over 100 feet and 17 over 80 feet on display. On the charter side, Denison has doubled the size of its charter fleet, totaling 30 yachts now. He also mentioned that this year was a big one for Denison as it marked 75 years since the Denison family moved to Fort Lauderdale and the start of the company.

Bob discussed Denison’s partnerships, sending praise to Brand Partnerships Manager Jennifer Welker Peacock for her amazing work finding companies that are in line with Denison to provide a great client experience. Particularly, he highlighted Denison’s new partnership with Magellan Jets, offering even more exclusive luxury experiences to its yachting clientele. Magellan Jets provides the smartest private jet solutions and most personalized flight experiences for its clients. Bob echoed his previous sentiment that Magellan offers the same commitment in the aviation world that Denison offers in the yachting realm, making it the most obvious synergy in the luxury travel market.

Holman Motorcars was another important partner that was discussed at the event, and this year was the fourth year of the collaboration. One of the most impressive and enjoyable elements of this partnership is the Denison + Holman VIP house at the show, which offers select clientele a respite from the show and an exclusive VIP experience. Guests can enjoy onsite valet parking, private on-water transportation to and from the boat show, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments throughout the day, and the opportunity to tour luxury cars, the property, and yachts. A number of exclusive events will also be held on property throughout the show.

FRANK Magazine Issue 06 will also debut at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, as launched officially every year at Denison’s Saturday night dock party, a favorite among Denison clientele and team alike (also known as “Yachts After Dark”). The new issue features in-depth stories, like tales of free diving with sperm whales and new superyacht concepts by designers Dickie Bannenberg and Simon Rowell along with Denison yacht broker Alex G. Clarke. Sportscars, motorcycles, and even space exploration all make an appearance in Denison’s yachting magazine’s newest edition.

Additionally, Bob announced Denison’s exclusive listing of 88m Project PEGASUS, a concept yacht designed by Jozeph Forakis and represented by Alex G. Clarke. With reflective ‘Solar Wings’, Project PEGASUS is the world’s first 3D printed superyacht solar-electric/hydrogen hybrid with zero emissions and with a multi-level “Tree of Life” hydroponic garden providing fresh food and air purification. He passed the baton to Alex G. Clarke who went into all the current new construction projects, including two with Turquoise Yachts and one with Leapher Yachts. Alex also covered Denison’s partnership with Numarine for the last three years, including recent sales and listings.

Cryptocurrency was another topic Bob was proud to discuss. With 13 cryptocurrency transactions–all in Bitcoin–he mentioned wanting Denison to be the type of company that goes in whatever direction its clients are going. That includes paying with cryptocurrency.

Finally, Denison’s most exciting news was Bob’s announcement of a new central office in Fort Lauderdale. With 22 offices along the coasts in the US, three of Denison’s Broward County offices, including the current headquarters in Dania Beach, will soon be consolidated into one, state-of-the-art location on 17th Street, to become the all-new global headquarters. Proudly reminiscing about the “Ardell building” of Fort Lauderdale, Bob was glad to share that the new office is at that same location.
