Working with Jeff Sorgen as a yacht broker in acquiring my first sailboat was a great experience. It was a two step process in which Jeff has done an amazing job in coaching me finding a sailing yacht that best fits to my needs. Jeff was very responsive and always acting fairly to balance both Buyer's and Seller's objectives. I owned a 60 foot Maple Leaf cutter which my husband remodeled extensively in the early 2000s. When he died, it became necessary for me to sell the boat, which was at that time located in the Rio Dulce in Guatemala. I was able to contract with Jeff Sorgen as the broker. By the time I got the boat back to the US, Jeff had buyers lined up, and the boat was sold within a month of our arrival for a very appropriate amount. Jeff was also excellent in terms of finding reasonably-priced dockage in the Ft. Lauderdale area and in preparing the boat for sale. I would have no reservations contracting with him again should I decide to buy another boat, and recommend him very highly. He is a great guy!

I have dealt with numerous yacht brokers over the past 20 years in the Midwest and the southern states while I was boat hunting. I can honestly say you treated me with more integrity than any other broker especially with selling my boat. I had one broker that said his wife was an ethics professor and that she had reinforced that with him.
