Captain Dan Corcoran began his yachting career at a young age. At the age of 15, he began washing boats at a local marina in Spring Lake, Michigan, and at 18, he became a licensed Captain. During breaks in college, he ran boats back and forth from Michigan to Florida.
After graduating, he moved to Florida to run boats full-time. In 2001, after upgrading his license, he embarked on running larger yachts and in 2012, ran a 151’ Northern Marine. For 15 years, Captain Dan and his wife, Toni, ran yachts cruising the East Coast of the US, the Great Loop, the Tennessee/Tombigbee waterway, and the Bahamas. With 40 years of experience as a captain, he holds a Master 1600 GRT license and always puts the safety of his guests first.
Out of all his years of experience, the Bahamas holds a special spot in Captain Dan’s heart, and he loves giving the guests a truly unique experience and showing the Bahamas “through his eyes”. Captain Dan calls Tampa home, where he loves to spend time with his wife and dogs.
