MOTIVATED SELLER — OVER $81,000 IN RECENT MECHANICAL WORK
Due to health circumstances, the owner is motivated to sell after investing more than $81,000 in recent mechanical work performed by RMK Merrill-Stevens, including extensive work to the engines, generator, stern drives, and related mechanical systems.
This represents a substantial investment in the vessel's major mechanical components, giving the next owner the benefit of having much of this costly work already completed.
The asking price has also been reduced to account for the unfinished decking, allowing the next owner to select and install the deck material of their choice. The deteriorated teak has already been completely removed and the deck stripped and prepared. RMK Merrill-Stevens has laser-measured the boat for a new SeaDek installation, with the complete deck quoted at approximately $3,500.
The following work was recently performed by RMK Merrill-Stevens:
PORT ENGINE — COMPLETE REBUILD | ZERO HOURS SINCE REBUILD
STARBOARD ENGINE — VOLVO 1,500-HOUR MAJOR SERVICE
GENERATOR SERVICE
STERN DRIVE SERVICE
DECKING — READY FOR THE NEW OWNER'S CHOICE
The deteriorated teak decking has been completely removed, and the deck has been stripped and properly prepared for installation of new decking.
Rather than installing a material the next owner may not prefer, the asking price has been reduced accordingly. The new owner can choose SeaDek or another decking material to suit their taste.
RMK Merrill-Stevens has already laser-measured the vessel for SeaDek, with a quoted cost of approximately $3,500 for the complete deck installation.
A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF THE HEAVY LIFTING HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE
With more than $81,000 recently invested, this vessel has received substantial attention to some of the most expensive mechanical systems aboard.
The port engine is starting at zero hours since its complete rebuild, while the starboard engine has undergone Volvo's intensive 1,500-hour major service. The generator and stern drives have also been extensively serviced.
For a buyer comparing similar vessels, the amount of recent mechanical work completed should be a significant consideration. Rather than purchasing a boat and immediately facing major engine and drive service, much of that investment has already been made by the current owner.
The owner is motivated to sell due to health circumstances, and serious offers are encouraged. If you've been waiting for an opportunity to purchase a well-equipped vessel with substantial recent mechanical investment, this boat deserves a closer look.
