Gig Boat | 38' Custom 1994

Gig is a custom-designed aluminum vessel purpose-built by the highly respected Svendsen Marine Works, specialists in premium custom aluminum watercraft. Constructed in Wrangell, Alaska in 1994, as a Jet Sport cruiser. Gig reflects Svendsen’s reputation for rugged engineering, practical design, and commercial-grade build quality.

She combines classic, purposeful styling with strong performance, powered by twin Cummins 6BTA 5.9-MZ diesel engines, each rated at 330 horsepower and showing very low hours. Propulsion is via Hamilton 273 waterjets with HSRX reverse, delivering excellent maneuverability, efficiency, and control. The starboard engine was professionally rebuilt in 2023, adding significant long-term value and reliability.

Built entirely of aluminum, Gig is an exceptionally solid and stable platform. While configured as a dive charter vessel, she has proven capable across a wide range of demanding applications, including passenger ferry service, remote crew transport, commercial and recreational diving, fishing, and is capable for most any offshore excursion. Her layout and construction make her well suited for both commercial and recreational use.

Gig is fully equipped and operational, including a complete electronics package that provides reliable navigation and real-time systems monitoring. The vessel has been maintained in good condition and is ready for immediate service.
