Sailing has been one of the most fundamental and transformative activities in human history and played a crucial role in human expansion.

The Phoenicians were famous in ancient times for being expert sailors. The respect earned was such that they were known as the "Princes of the Sea."
Phoenicians learned to use a very bright star in the sky as a guide for their night sailings, it was of such importance for them that they named it as the 'Phoenician Star,' which is known nowadays as 'North Star' or 'Polaris.'

We used our experience to guide us to design the proportions of this 39m catamaran. The POLARIS 39M is a luxury yacht which in her 'Cruiser Version' offers 5 ocean-view guest cabins at lower deck, plus a full 180º open ocean-view owner's cabin at main deck level. Three different lounges and dining areas including a fully equipped spacious flybridge make guests enjoying al-fresco living areas in the highest comfort.

This innovative Sailing Catamaran can also be setup as 'Performance Sport Version,' which shares all same exterior areas, pool and jacuzzi that the 'Cruiser' options (except the flybridge), and presents instead 5 ocean-view cabins at lower deck, and an extra-large 360º full-open-view saloon at main deck, connecting aft with forward decks creating then an unbelievable 400sqm in-out loft-type space all at same walking level.

Both versions also present at aft deck two openable side balconies and aft lifting platform which can be set all at same level flying just over water, discovering then a full beam beach area which surrounds a glass-walled pool and comfortable sunbathing units, plus big sofas, bar, etc.

In addition, a separated fully-set lounge/dining/sunbathing area can be found at forward deck, which offers a jacuzzi and wetbar unit as well to cover all guests' needs.

The lifting platform also work as garage for an up to 8m tender, which will be easily launched taking advantage of platform up-down movement.
Plenty of water toys and diving equipment have their dedicated space under cockpit floor, and can be accessed through deck hatches and from watertight lids directly by people standing on the balconies. 

As regards to construction, this design with some adjustments in hull shape, can be made in aluminum (ideally for the cruiser/fly version) or fully carbon construction (ideally for the Performance Sport Version) to suit the owner priorities. Both options will have a carbon mast, twin headstays arrangement with roller furlers and carbon furling boom to make it sailing-friendly with minimum crew. Generous asymmetric spinnaker to be tacked at bowsprit end to maximize downwind runs.

A variety of options are available to make your yacht self-sufficient and sustainable. Solar panels at superstructure and bimini tops, hybrid diesel-electric engines, and large battery storage systems will generate and store enough energy to support the yacht's "hotel loads."
