The large salon features a C-shaped settee with seating for 6 – 8 plus two upholstered Captain’s chairs. There is 7 feet of headroom. All lines are led aft to the cockpit and 3 of the 4 winches are electric. The jib is roller furling and the mainsail has full battens with a Leisure-furl, in-boom set-up for excellent sail shape and infinite reefing options. Agave Azul also has a colorful masthead asymmetrical spinnaker with a sock. Typical sailing speed is 6 to 8 knots. An oversized Rocna anchor and electric windlass make for secure anchoring and easy retrieval. Docking is also easy with the help of the Lewmar bow thruster.

Agave Azul is equipped with a large multifunction Raymarine chartplotter, radar, dual helms with dual instruments. Catalina is known for its large comfortable cockpits and the 470 has one of the largest, which is great while underway or when entertaining at anchor or at the dock.
