Jane Marie features Catalina's popular three-cabin, two-head layout, providing exceptional flexibility for cruising with family and guests.
The forward owner's stateroom features a centerline queen innerspring mattress, cedar-lined hanging locker, drawers and generous storage. The owner's private ensuite head includes a separate shower stall and door, vessel sink and freshwater-flush electric toilet.
The main salon is bright and spacious, with a large U-shaped dinette and generous seating. The dinette can convert to a double berth when additional sleeping accommodations are required.
The starboard aft cabin features an innerspring mattress, hanging locker and ample storage. The port aft cabin is particularly versatile and can be configured as either a double/single berth or as a storage workshop space.
The starboard cockpit bench can be configured as a daybed or off-watch berth.
COCKPIT
The spacious cockpit accommodates 10 people with port and starboard seating forward, 2 oversized stern rail seats and L shaped seating at each helm. The two independent helm stations feature stainless steel leather-wrapped wheels and a Raymarine multifunction insturments. The starboard helm includes the engine throttle/gear shift, autopilot, bow thruster, and connections for the windlass remote and VHF repeater. A large Raymarine chart plotter and the engine panel is mounted between the helm stations beneath the cockpit table with a magnetic compass mounted on the table forward.
A large dual-folding cockpit table includes an insulated top-access cooler. Storage is provided by a large lazarette locker with top and swim platform access. Two Lewmar 55 self-tailing winches serve the foresail, with two additional Lewmar 45 electric and manual self-tailing winches mounted on the cabin top. All running rigging leads aft to the cockpit. A connected Bimini and Dodger provides protection from sun and weather. A Tohatzu outboard is mounted at the stern.
SWIM PLATFORM
The swim platform is accessed via the walkthrough transom and features a hot/cold shower, swim ladder, access to the lazarette locker and offers convenient platform for swimming or bringing a tender alongside while at anchor.
TOPSIDES & DECK
The deck is protected by stainless steel bow and stern rails with dual lifelines and multiple boarding gates. A Lifesling man-overboard recovery system is mounted on the starboard stern rail, while the tender outboard is mounted to port.
Three cabin-top hatches and multiple opening portlights provide excellent light and ventilation. Jib tracks run along both side decks, with cleats positioned forward, amidships and aft.
The bow features a dual stainless-steel anchor roller, chain locker with washdown spigot, electric windlass with vertical chain & rode capstan and two cleats.
The double-spreader fractional rig includes a Furlex headsail roller furler, in-mast mainsail furling and boom vang. Standing rigging is stainless steel.
INTERIOR
The interior of the yacht is spacious, bright and inviting, with generous headroom. It is appointed with a modern décor, LED lighting, teak and holy sole, entertainment systems, large fixed & opening ports and large overhead hatches, fans and dual 12vac/USB outlets throughout.
MAIN CABIN / SALON
Entering through the center companionway, the L-shaped galley is to port, with a head to starboard and the spacious salon forward.
The salon provides seating for eight, with a large U-shaped settee to port and a configurable seating/table arrangement to starboard. The salon table can be lowered to create an additional double berth, while a single berth can be configured to starboard. Numerous shelves and lockers provide storage, while fixed and opening portlights, overhead hatches, fans, air conditioning and fans provide light and ventilation.
GALLEY
The aft-port L-shaped galley features a front-access refrigerator and top-access freezer, Force 10 stove, double stainless-steel sink and ample storage in overhead and under-counter lockers.
FORWARD CABIN
The forward stateroom features a centerline double berth, flat-screen TV, extensive shelving and lockers, and additional storage beneath the berth. Large portlights and overhead hatches provide natural light and ventilation, supplemented by air conditioning and fans.
FORWARD ENSUITE HEAD
The forward ensuite head includes a separate shower stall, electric marine toilet and vanity with hot and cold running water. Storage lockers, mirrored cabinets, 120V outlet and towel hooks complete the space. A portlight and and air conditioning provide ventilation.
STARBOARD AFT CABIN
The starboard aft cabin features a double berth, shelving, a hanging locker and ample natural light from fixed and opening portlights. Air conditioning and opening ports provide ventilation.
PORT AFT CABIN
The port aft cabin is a flexible space. It can be configured with a single or double berth or as a storage/workspace. It includes, shelving, a hanging locker and ample natural light from fixed and opening portlights. In addition it opens to the cockpit above via a large cockpit locker door. Air conditioning and opening ports provide ventilation.
AFT HEAD
Located opposite the galley, the aft head is entered from the main cabin. It features an electric marine toilet, vanity with hot and cold water, mirrored storage lockers and a 120V outlet. An opening portlight and air conditioning provide ventilation.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT
The engine compartment is located beneath the cockpit companionway stairs and features full access through front and side panels. The generator is accessible through panels in the aft port cabin. All filters are accessible from the starboard aft cabin and the steering quadrant has unparallel access from both the port and starboard cabins as well as the lazarette locker.

The combination of in-mast furling, self-tacking jib and aft-led controls makes the 425 particularly manageable for short-handed cruising.
CANVAS & COCKPIT
The custom canvas package is a standout feature of Jane Marie. All canvas was custom made in Annapolis to the owner's specifications and finished in Persian Green Sunbrella.

The Catalina 425's construction incorporates a one-piece fiberglass hull with end-grain balsa core sandwich construction above the waterline and a vinylester integral barrier to help resist osmotic blistering.
Jane Marie features the shoal-draft lead wing keel with 316 stainless-steel keel bolts.
