The McKinna 47 is a Taiwan-built sedan that's conservative profile masks a surprisingly space-efficient interior. She rides on a conventional modified-V hull with a well-flared bow, a shallow keel for stability, and a relatively wide 15-foot beam. Her spacious galley-up floor plan is arranged with two staterooms, both with queen-size berths and built-in vanities, and two heads that share a common shower stall. An L-shaped sofa dominates the salon where the large, wraparound cabin windows provide excellent natural lighting and outside visibility. A lower helm is optional and the interior is finished out in handcrafted maple woodwork. While the McKinna is clearly designed with cruising in mind, her large cockpit partially shaded by the bridge overhang is suitable for a couple of light-tackle anglers. Topside, the flybridge is huge with the helm forward and seating for eight. Additional features include wide side decks, a transom door, a teak cockpit sole and freshwater washdowns fore and aft. Standard 330hp Cummins diesels cruise at 18 knots (low 20 top)
