" Roving C's " was custom designed by John Gilbert of Boston who is best known for his commercial work with ferries, party and fishing boats; her structural aluminum work was done to heavy commercial standards using the best available alloys by Winninghoff boats of Rowley, Ma. She was built for a very knowledgeable owner who had owned a fleet of commercial vessels.
Her interior was completed to high yacht standards by Mountain Boatworks of Pocasset, MA and her systems were designed and completed by an extremely talented local marine engineer.

Divided chain locker forward

The galley is just forward of the main saloon. Large U-shaped galley with extensive Corian countertops. 4 Burner Force 10 propane stove with oven and broiler. Large custom 110V Cold Plate refrigeration system with heavily insulated box, freezer and thermometers. The main saloon features and L-Shaped settee with cocktail table opposite. Double doors open to the covered aft deck, creating and attractive open space which flows easily from indoors to outdoors; this is an important advantage over most trawlers.
The full width pilothouse is up three steps from the saloon; and features excellent storage for many charts, logs, books, etc. A full array of navigational electronics are suspended from the overhead. The Vessels interior is nicely finished in varnished American Cherry with raised panel cabinetry throughout; cabin soles are varnished long leaf yellow pine. Her interior spaces are covered and cooled/heated by Marine Air units. A hurricane diesel heater provides effective, economical heat in cooler climates.
FLYBRIDGE
This Vessel is nearly always operated from the pilothouse but the large flybridge offers full engine controls and bow and stern thrusters. A hand-held autopilot remote is stored on bridge, there is built in seating for many guests and the tabernacle stepped mast can be lowered from the bridge for 14’ bridge clearance.
