This 2009 65’ Outer Reef is designed for comfortable offshore cruising and easy owner-operation. Her 18'6" beam provides excellent volume, while hydraulic bow and stern thrusters simplify handling. Approximately $300,000 in recent additions, upgrades, electronics and maintenance further enhance this well-equipped cruising yacht.

WALKTHROUGH

The aft deck offers built-in seating, storage, teak table and chairs, refrigerator and flybridge access. Inside, the spacious salon features an L-settee, teak hi/lo table, cabinetry and teak-and-holly flooring. Forward is a fully equipped galley with generous storage.

The pilothouse includes an L-shaped settee, Stidd helm chair and extensive electronics. Accommodations include a king master, queen VIP and port guest cabin, all with ensuite heads, plus an aft crew/4th cabin with head/shower. A full-size washer and dryer are also onboard.

Built with D-rated semi-commercial 503 hp Caterpillar C9 engines, this Outer Reef combines substantial construction with efficient semi-displacement performance. The concave spray rail system provides a dry ride, while at approximately 9 knots reported consumption is less than one gallon per nautical mile. Maximum speed exceeds 12 knots.

Three ensuite staterooms forward plus an aft fourth cabin provide flexible accommodations. Remote controls and proportional 25 hp hydraulic bow/stern thrusters assist short-handed operation, while the large flybridge, covered aft deck, salon, galley and pilothouse provide excellent cruising and entertaining spaces.
