INTRODUCTION:
The Picnic Boat EP (Extended Pilothouse) combines traditional aesthetics in her beautiful lines and stunning craftsmanship with modern design and materials. She sleeps two comfortably forward and includes head with shower and galley. An L-shaped settee with table and two forward-facing Stidd seats are in the pilothouse. A’GANGEE II features a coveted transom door for easy access, air conditioning, and many more options and features that make her not only an elegant day cruiser but a comfortable weekender as well.

Construction of the hull is Hinckley DualGuard™ Composite Construction Kevlar E-glass hybrid outer skin; Aircraft grade end grain balsa below the waterline; Carbon fiber inner skin and SCRIMP® laminated with vinylester resin. Deck and cockpit are E-glass and balsa core and Corecell® core carbon fiber, SCRIMPED with vinylester resin.

COCKPIT:
A’GANGEE II features the traditional EP aft cockpit arrangement with a wet bar located atop the engine box which also forms an aft-facing seat. Aft, a transom door compliments a wide settee with back and seat cushions finished in Sunbrella blue and white stripe fabric that matches the forward seat. This settee has a hinged lid under the cushions and a removable storage tub that provides access bilge areas. A cup holder is just forward of these cushions on the starboard side. A cockpit cover attaches to pilothouse with snaps around cockpit coaming.

PILOTHOUSE:
The varnished teak pilothouse with natural teak sole is stately, warm, and inviting. Forward are two very comfortable Stidd helm chairs which each have great visibility through the forward and side windows. Aft, the L-shaped settee seats four easily and features a folding varnished teak table with adjustable pedestal. Opening side windows and four overhead hatches ensure excellent ventilation, and air conditioning with reverse cycle heat ensures comfort in heat and cold.

ACCOMODATIONS AND LAYOUT:
Access to the cabin below is through the varnished teak companionway (with removable hatch for more headroom) and down a single step. The galley is to port, private head to starboard and the V-berth forward. A’GANGEE II’s interior features satin-varnished cherry bulkheads, trim, and ceiling boards, and a varnished teak and holly sole. An opening overhead hatch with Ocean Aire sky screen/shade and opening port lights with screens ensure natural light and ventilation, amplified by air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat. Medium blue v-berth cushions compliment the Corian countertop.
Galley:
The stove is set in the custom Sandstone Corian countertop forward and has a custom wood stove cover/cutting board which adds to the already ample counter space surrounding the sink. Microwave is outboard. The refrigeration is mounted aft of the sink and is accessed by a counter lift-up top. A pantry locker with louvered door and several shelves separates the galley from the forward V-berth area. Above is the stereo and 12v outlet
