APAVA is a 2022 one owner Grand Banks 60’ open bridge in excellent condition! Powered by Volvo D13 @ 900hp each straight shafts with the optional Twin Disc EJS system with hydraulic bow thruster, stern thruster, windlass, joysticks and Skyhook positioning system.
She offers a spacious cockpit with built-in aft seating and teak table, forward aft-facing built-in seating to port. There are storage lockers port and starboard aft outboard, a spacious centerline lazarette for storage, and forward to port is an optional cockpit docking station. On the aft coaming access from the swim platform are dual Kenyon electric grills and an insulated ice chest or storage locker. This custom insulated locker is great for ice and drinks if desired or provides plentiful storage. Her swim platform is very wide and has three stainless steel stable rails for easy, safe transit. These are removable, as needed. The custom stainless steel swim ladder stows below decks. There is a new Samsung non-reflective fold-down Smart TV with a weatherproof Sealock soundbar at the aft deck which is cleverly concealed inside the overhead.
Going forward, both port and starboard, are wide side decks to easily transition from bow to stern with stainless grab rails and bow rail surrounding the deck. On the foredeck, is the bow sun pad with cushions and dedicated canvas cover. At the anchor platform, you can operate the windlass from this location or from either steering station which both have chain counters. There is a large deck locker that will easily hold four fenders and extra dock lines. Port and starboard boarding gates make access from any dock very easy.
Entering the salon, the galley is U-shaped and to port with a large aft fully opening window which joins the cockpit to the galley/salon area. This makes entertaining a breeze. The galley is fully equipped with Miele appliances just like home and features two drop-down overhead lockers with an abundance of storage that stows up and out of the way. Across from the galley is additional counter space and two additional refrigeration drawers.
Moving forward to starboard is a straight settee which comfortably seats four adults and has storage below. On the port side is a large L-settee with teak dining table that features a Hi-Lo lift. Large storage drawers are available under all seating.
Forward to starboard is the lower helm station with easy side access to the starboard deck to make docking even easier. The sight lines at this helm are excellent, as the yacht has very minimal bow rise with her Mark Richards’ designed V-WARP technology. The two Garmin 8617 screens have all the options including open array radar, depth sounder, KVH7 SAT TV, Fusion stereo, Starlink and much more. Twin Disc hydraulic proportional bow and stern thruster controls and joystick controls are available for convenient maneuvering at each station. Humphree all speed stabilization with “At Rest” function is operated from this station as well. To port is a large companion bench seat; four adults can comfortably sit at this helm station while the yacht is underway.
Down three steps to port is the large and extremely well-appointed master stateroom featuring a full walkaround Island master berth, large en suite head with separate stall shower, separate dressing area aft outboard with cedar-lined hanging lockers, hull side port and overhead hatches for natural light and ventilation, and additional storage and comforts throughout.
The forward VIP guest stateroom offers a low berth compared to most other boats, so you can walk-in and sit right down on the bed without any difficulty or having to climb up in any way. It is comfortable, wide, straight and easy to make. This stateroom also has an overhead opening hatch and ports for natural light and ventilation, as well as plentiful storage in numerous drawers and a large hanging locker.
From the VIP stateroom you can actually see her transom! The Grand Banks 60 has a very low profile and center of gravity, only three steps separate the salon from the lower deck with easy transitioning throughout her interior.
Heading aft on the starboard side is the guest head featuring a separate stall shower, freshwater Tecma Plus head, mirrored cabinets, storage drawers and more.
The guest stateroom is located to starboard at the base of the companionway and offers two single berths, each in its own private section. The upper section has one large single berth with storage below. Move down a step further aft and you have another large single berth. When you first enter this stateroom, the Miele Washer/Dryer full-size stacked units are forward in a dedicated teak cabinet (washer is new).
The spacious open Flybridge is easily accessed by a staircase from the starboard forward side of the aft deck. The forward section of the Flybridge features a large L-settee with teak table to port and two STIDD helmseats forward. The seating area is very generous and comfortably seats up to ten. To starboard is a wet bar with refrigeration, sink, large countertop and ample storage below. Standing at this helm station, looking straight down, you can see the entire bow so vision driving the boat could not be any better. This station features two additional Garmin 8617 screens along with full instrumentation as found at the lower helm.
Aft of the hardtop and seating area is the sunbed which has abundant storage inside. Continuing aft sits the 1,000 lb. Steelhead davit crane with BRIG Falcon 380T Center Console Tender with 50hp Yamaha outboard.
