The hull is of single skin construction using glass/aramid hybrid fiber reinforced
polyester laminate.

Structural bulkheads are of marine grade waterproof plywood laminated to hull and
deck with foam strips between.

Stiffeners are unidirectional lay-ups over foam cores.

Engine beds are of GRP.

Special care is taken to assure rigid foundation and proper
adhesion to hull.

Two crash bulkheads forward.

KEEL

Regatta keel, draft 2.9m.

The keel is an accurately finished lead casting with antimony.

Cast-in keel bolts are of high-tensile stainless steel.

RUDDER

Foam filled GRP with tubular tapered stock of E-glass composite, supported by two
self-aligning JP3 type4 roller bearings.

STEERING SYSTEM

Cable steering with chain drive, sheaves provided with guards to prevent jamming.

Steering quadrant bolted to rudder stock.

60" (1.52 m) stainless destroyer type wheel with cow hide cover, 1.6 turns hard over to hard over.

Composite pedestal with roller bearings, friction brake and crash bar with bracket for chart plotter over wheel.

Emergency tiller stowed aft in lazarette.

Deck is of sandwich construction using glass/aramid fiber reinforced polyester
laminate with foam core, and glued to the hull.

GENERAL ARRANGEMENT

Sleeps 6 in 3 separate sleeping cabins plus 2 more in the main saloon for a total of 8. 2 Heads. 2 companionways, 1 to each cockpit. Varnished, Burmese teak with hand rubbed satin finish is used for all visible woodwork. Floorboards with teak and holly veneer and access to the bilge. Topsides, where visible, lined with teak battens. Overhead lined with removable (Velcro) paneling.

FORWARD GUEST HEAD

Located in the bow.

Access from both port and starboard guest cabins.

Manual Jabsco head discharges through sea cock

GRP module with shower pan, covering bulkheads up to wash basin height.

On the starboard side is a settee/berth, bookshelf and lockers outboard.

The stove space is insulated and protected by stainless steel guard rail.

Stainless steel double sink with mixing, pressure, fresh water faucet.

Salt-water faucet operated by a foot pump.

Front-loaded 110liter (3.9 cu.ft.) refrigerator.

Top-loaded 70liter (2.5 cu.ft.) freezer.

components in December 2022.

The engine has its own starting battery set, 12 V 90 Ah, located in saloon L-sofa
forward wing.

PROPELLER SHAFT

Made of corrosion resistant high-strength steel with flexible shaft coupling, outboard

FUEL SYSTEM

Fuel capacity 300liters (79 USg), in two tanks with dual shut-off valve.

Water separator on fuel feed line, return line provided.

Tank/s vented to outside. Fill on deck starboard side with internal shut off valves.

PLUMBING

Seafresh watermaker SH206 rated at 100 liters per hour - completely overhauled 2019.

Sea water piping of reinforced PVC tubing, fresh water piping of nylon tubing.

Fuel and water tanks of welded stainless steel pressure tested to 35 kPa, and provided
with baffles, inspection covers, sounding plug, and vent pipes.

Shower sump tanks of GRP, integral with the molded floor liner.

Holding tank for aft head only.

Fresh water capacity 430liters (113.6 USg), in two tanks.

Level gauge (tank 1 and 2) on galley control panel.

Hot and cold pressure water for galley and heads.

The consumable water can be heated via a calorifier under the owner's bunk, either
via engine cooling water or with a heating element working on AC when the boat is
connected to shore power.
