The 2003 Coastal Craft 32, 'Blue Heron' is a beautifully finished, highly capable Northwest cruiser designed for comfortable year-round boating. Custom-built for her original owner and subsequently maintained to an exceptional standard, this Coastal Craft combines the strength and practicality of an aluminum hull with a warm, refined interior featuring custom teak cabinetry, teak-and-holly flooring, and quality upholstery. A true mark of a Coastal Craft.
Powered by twin Volvo Penta KAD44 diesel engines with only 880 hours, she offers an excellent combination of performance, efficiency and proven reliability. The walkaround design provides safe and easy movement around the vessel, while the flybridge adds a fantastic elevated helm and entertaining space.
She has been lightly used and always stored indoors for each winter, and her cosmetic condition reflects the level of care she has received.

The Coastal Craft's walkaround side decks make moving forward safe and straightforward, with substantial handholds throughout.
Flybridge access is provided by a dedicated ladder, leading to an elevated helm with full engine controls and seating for three. The forward deck features an anchor locker and stainless-steel bow roller.
The aft cockpit is also self-draining and incorporates a waterproof centreline door on gas struts. A starboard boarding gate provides convenient access to the swim grid, where a reboarding ladder and Sea-Wise davit system are fitted.
The lower helm provides excellent visibility and a comprehensive suite of Raymarine electronics:
Step below and the Coastal Craft's quality of construction becomes immediately apparent. The cabin is bright, warm and exceptionally well finished, with extensive custom teak cabinetry, teak trim and teak-and-holly flooring throughout.
The generous woodwork is complemented by fine upholstery and thoughtfully designed storage lockers, creating a comfortable interior that makes excellent use of the available space. The seating arrangement on the Port side can be made into a full sleeping area.
The cabin is heated by an Espar diesel heating system, making her well suited to year-round cruising in the Pacific Northwest.
The galley is provisioned with both a Force 10 - 3 burner stove / oven combo and a well sized fridge. Along with ample cupboard space, this allows for longer trips while still staying comfortable.
The KAD44 engines have been carefully cared for with steady maintenance throughout the years of ownership. The owner has meticulously maintained the Inboard/Outboard leg arrangement and has undergone recent maintenance on both legs, with one being brand new.
The engine space is equipped with both the house battery bank and the start batteries for each engine. With the selector switches easily accessed on the Port side of the engine compartment.
A bonus to this engine package is that the engines have ample room around them to access the usually hard to reach areas.
