2003 Nordic Tug 37 Gypsy Spirit
Gypsy Spirit is an outstanding example of the ever popular Nordic Tug 37. This beauty is in excellent condition and has been lightly used by her experienced owners. With only 1400 original hours and a Chariot style flybridge, this one is a "must see".
Designed by Lynn Senour, the originator of the Nordic Tugs, these boats were built with a hand-laid fiberglass hull, full keel and hard chines that provide amazing seakeeping qualities. Although it called a 37, the waterline is actually 39 feet due to a molded-in swim step that is essentially an extension of the hull, giving her greater speed, stability and fuel economy.
Gypsy Spirit features the popular two cabin interior. Commissioned with optional teak valances and pilothouse paneling, the richly oiled teak cabinetry throughout is a work of art. Stepping into the salon from the cockpit you find a large convertible L-shaped settee to port and a fully appointed galley to starboard. Up three steps into the pilothouse, you'll find comfortable seating, sliding doors to port and starboard, a well appointed helm to starboard and a proper chart table to port. This design provides the helmsman and crew with excellent visibility underway and in close quarters. Down from the pilothouse is the accommodations level. Forward is the primary cabin with a comfortable queen centerline berth and hull-side cabinets and hanging lockers. To port is the guest cabin with bunks making it a wonderful place for guests or additional storage for extended adventures. To starboard is the head with separate stall shower. Overall, the Nordic Tug 37 is a well conceived cruising design.
