This is a rare Ocean Alexander flushdeck motoryacht--most OAs were sedan-style boats--and is PRISTINE: she's been a local boat with a handful of long term owners since 1993, has always been professionally maintained and shows practically as new inside and out today.
Some highlights include a beautifully updated galley, new soft goods (including carpets and mattresses) and furnishings throughout, custom aft deck hardtop and enclosure with tinted glass sliding side windows and solid wing doors, fully enclosed flybridge, custom finish work on the aft deck and salon including built in entertainment system and wine rack, new soft goods(including carpets throughout, they look like they've never been walked on) and beautiful custom finished teak interior joinery, VacuFlush toilets (this was a HUGE project as it was very difficult to run the required hoses), substantial work in the engine room and to the low time (620 hours) Cummins diesels, an easy-to-use (and very expensive) kneeling davit, much more (check out the custom folding boarding ladder for example, also very expensive!).
As you'd expect from a vessel designed by Ed Monk, she's substantially built and will handle typically boisterous Bay conditions with ease. She's also a wide boat and this beam makes her surprisingly spacious (even for a 48' motoryacht, which has alot of room to begin with) both topside and below--note 6'5+ headroom throughout including both staterooms and flybridge enclosure.
This is one of the nicest boats we've seen in years (both in terms of maintenance and decoarating) and she really must be seen to be appreciated.
Note wonderful Sausalito Yacht Harbor slip (in the E Dock turning basin with magnificent views including San Francisco and Mt. Tam) can potentially transfer. There's a years-long wait to get a slip of this size in the marina here so this is a material benefit if you're able to take advantage...
Vessel shown by appointment, please.

Forward stateroom with walk-around double, small lighted vanity and ensuite head with stall shower, step up half step aft to pocket galley port side, then up two steps to bright and airy salon with built in L-shaped settee, breakfast bar, and lower helm with sliding door giving access to side deck.
From salon, down four steps aft to master stateroom or up four steps aft to fully finished and enclosed aft deck, up from which to comfortable fully enclosed flybridge.
Master stateroom has walk-around double, plenty of storage, lighted vanity and an ensuite head also with stall shower.
Note interior of the vessel has the beautiful joinery for which OA is rightfully known and shows MUCH newer than actual age with 6'5 headroom throughout, both stateroom closets are cedar lined, reverse cycle heat/air (and it works a charm on BOTH cycles!).
Galley down with custom extra large and deep brushed stainless steel sink (2023) with hot/cold pressure water and designer one-touch faucet (2023), Galley Maid Empress three burner electric stove with oven, built in microwave GE Profile microwave oven (2023) that vents to the exterior, Bloomberg full size upright AC refrigerator (2023), Bosch dishwasher.
VacuFlush toilets in both heads (totally custom system including toilets, hoses and holding tanks), and both heads have separate enclosed showers.
Datamarine depth sounders, Icom VHF radios, Ritchie magnetic compasses. Alpine AM/FM stereo with speakers built in throughout the vessel, Samsung flat screen TV with DVD player.
110V AC / 12V DC. Fifty amp shorepower service, four 8D batteries in two banks with parallel switch, single 4D genset starting battery, Xantrex smart battery charger, 12.5 Westerbeke genset in soundshield with just over 600 total hours.
Heavily built hand laid FRP semi-displacement hull, balsa cored fiberglass decks with molded nonskid and a fully enclosed flybridge. Vessel professionally maintained with hull and topsides showing much newer than actual age (brightwork is PERFECT!), last hauled and bottom painted September 2016. Custom aft deck enclosure with sliding tinted glass side windows (they're beautifully designed and executed pieces of work).
45 lb CQR plough style anchor on bow roller with heavy duty Maxwell-Nilsson vertical shaft electric windlass, ample chain and line rode. Roskelley/Olsson transom mounted kneeling davit. And one final note: there's a custom folding boarding ladder installed on the port side of the vessel; this would be a $20,000 project if undertaken today.
Last hauled and bottom painted in 2023.
Low time (barely 700 total hours!) on twin Cummins 8 cylinder turbocharged, fuel injected freshwater cooled diesel engines with full instrumentation and Racor fuel filters. These engines have been regularly and professionally maintained (slight leaking was noted at one of the exhaust risers, for example, and they were both replaced replaced in 2022) and the engine room is spotless as well (no surprise given that it was Awlgripped!).
Hydraulic steering from upper and lower stations. 2" stainless steel shafts thru packing gland and bronze struts, four-bladed bronze props (new props and shafts in 2005).
