Boat Highlights
This Island Spirit 37 is a proven South African-built cruising catamaran, constructed by Fortuna Catamarans and well regarded for its robust GRP construction, spacious accommodation, and practical cruising layout.
A comprehensive condition survey completed in June 2026 is available to qualified buyers, providing excellent transparency into the vessel’s current condition. The current owner has also invested more than US$60,000 in repairs and upgrades over the past three months, addressing many significant maintenance items and creating a solid foundation for the next owner.
While the yacht is not yet turnkey, it represents an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on buyer looking to acquire a capable cruising catamaran at an attractive price. With further cosmetic improvements and completion of the remaining recommended works, there is considerable potential to add value while tailoring the vessel to your own cruising plans.
Layout & Accommodations
The vessel features a practical four-cabin, two-head layout with a bright raised deck saloon providing excellent visibility, a spacious aft cockpit for entertaining, and comfortable accommodation in both port and starboard hulls.
The interior remains functional, with tan fabric cabin mattresses and saloon cushions in serviceable condition, while the EVA cabin sole coverings have been fitted relatively recently and present well. As identified in the June 2026 survey, portions of the interior would benefit from cosmetic refurbishment, and further inspection is recommended in specific bulkhead and chainplate areas. These items have been documented in the survey, allowing prospective purchasers to make a well-informed assessment before purchase.
