Introducing the 2005 Carver 56 Voyager, described as "super yacht style at a motor yacht price." She is stylish, comfortable, and functional. Some of the features that really make this model stand out are the separation of living space from staterooms, multiple social zones, full beam midship master, and no stairs to enter her salon/galley area. This 56 Voyager, Clover Day, has the teak and holly floors, u shaped dinette in the salon, and lower helm. She is powered by 2 Volvo Penta D12 Diesel Engines with 675 hp each.
The current owner has improved her lovingly during his ownership but has bought home on the water so he no longer needs this size boat. Some of these improvements include new robust swim ladder, HVAC replacements, LED lighting, underwater lights, stereo system, and TV in pilothouse. She has been located in the freshwater of the Tennessee River since he purchased her a few years ago.

Boarding this boat from the floating dock is a breeze with its oversized swim platform. From the Swim Platform you can access a storage cabinet on the transom, the shore power, and the dockside water inlet. There is a transom door that leads to the cockpit where you will find engine room access in the floor, open stairs/ladder to bridge, seating with storage, and a sliding glass door for access to the salon.
Entering the salon you find a large u-shaped dinette immediate to port, a new reclining sofa to starboard, and the galley forward. The TV tucks into a televator above the galley. The galley features upgraded drawer fridge and freezers, lots of drawers, a trash compactor, double basin sink, convection microwave oven, electric cooktop, and generous counter space.
Progressing forward in the boat you will step up 3 steps to the Pilothouse. In this companionway you will find your AC and DC power panels. In the pilothouse there is a sliding door starboard that allows access to the side decks and bow. Above this door is a large flat panel TV. To port there is a curved sofa. There is a power helm chair and lower helm controls that mimic the upper helm. There are electronics screens located overhead and a large windshield for optimal visibility from that location. From the Pilothouse there are interior stairs aft that gently lead to the flybridge as well as an elegant curved staircase forward that leads down to the accommodations.
At the bottom of the stairs you find a midship primary stateroom immediately to port. It features a full walk around queen size bed, a full length hanging locker, chest of drawers, cabinets on each side of the bed, a large storage closet in the aft wall, a closet housing a full size stack washer and dryer, and en suite head that has the potty separate from the tub/shower. The second door to port is a small cabin with bunk beds, a couple of drawers and a closet that is shared and passes through to the forward VIP. The forward VIP stateroom located in the bow has an island queen, drawers under the bed, and 2 storage lockers. To starboard you find the guest head. The guest head has a vacuflush head, storage behind the mirror and under sink, and a separate shower.
Up the stairs from the pilothouse you pass through an acrylic hatch into the fully enclosed flybridge. Immediately to your right (port side) you will find the helm with updated electronics, bow and stern thruster controls, electronic shifters, VHF radio, and upgraded fusion stereo. On the starboard side there is an electric grill, undercounted refrigerator, cabinet storage, and seating. On the port side behind the helm there is a wet bar with sink and storage followed by a large u shaped seating area with storage under the seating. At the aft of the dinette and outside the enclosure you will find a swing arm davit and chalks to store your dinghy.
