1998 Sabre 362 "Door 1"
One owner, freshwater only, heated indoor storage
Designed by renowned naval architect Jim Taylor and built in Maine, the Sabre 362 has long been regarded as one of the finest performance cruisers in her class. "Door 1" is a beautifully maintained example featuring a striking dark blue hull, classic cherry interior, and numerous thoughtful upgrades that enhance both sailing performance and onboard comfort.
Powered by a dependable 32 HP Yanmar diesel with approximately 1,200 hours, "Door 1" is equipped with a Max-Prop 2-blade feathering propeller, providing excellent efficiency and maneuverability. Sail handling has been upgraded with a Harken MK II roller furling system, Harken adjustable genoa cars, a Strong Track mainsail slide system, and a SailTec hydraulic split backstay adjuster, allowing for exceptional control and ease of operation. A spinnaker pole and Hall Quick Vang further enhance sailing performance.
At the helm, the boat features KVH Quadro instrumentation providing wind speed, boat speed, and sailing data, along with GPS, depth sounder, log-speedometer, VHF radio, compass, plotter, and autopilot for confident cruising.
Below deck, Sabre's craftsmanship is immediately apparent with rich cherry joinery, a spacious salon, and accommodations for six. The layout includes two private cabins and a large head with a separate shower stall. Comfort features include Espar diesel heat, hot and cold pressure water, a VacuFlush head, Adler-Barbour refrigeration and freezer system, a Heart inverter/charger, battery charger, shore power, and a Sea Recovery watermaker for extended cruising.
Additional highlights include:
With her elegant lines, proven performance, and extensive equipment list, "Door 1" represents an outstanding opportunity for sailors seeking a quality-built cruiser equally at home on the Great Lakes or coastal waters.
