The Ranger Tugs R-31 Command Bridge has many features which make her feel much larger than her 31’ and make her ideal for extended cruises. The R-31CB was the first Ranger Tugs to feature a flybridge equipped with electronic controls at both the upper and lower helm stations.
The retractable flybridge also makes her trailerable. Go With The Flow comes with a triple axel Float-On trailer. Having a trailer makes Go With The Flow an excellent choice for an owner who wants to spend winters below the 32nd parallel, and summers in the Northeast. Go With The Flow could also be taken home to her “birth place” in the Pacific Northwest or anywhere else you want to cruise.
The Ranger Tugs R-31CB is perfect for America’s Great Loop. Go With The Flow has not done the Loop, but many of her sister ships have successfully completed that adventure. Is it time for you to Go With The Flow and see where the flow takes you?

Go With The Flow has integrated gunwale steps on either side directly into the cockpit with numerous handholds; she can also be boarded via the swim platform. There are navigable sidewalks with handholds to the foredeck. The steps to the flybridge are to port. The door into the interior is centered to starboard. The galley is to starboard aft of the lower helm station, which has a sliding door to the outside. Access to the ensuite master stateroom is at center forward. The second stateroom and day head is to port aft of the dinette.
The company known today as Ranger Tugss began in 1958 as the Ranger Fiberglass Boat Company, which was acquired by Fluid Motion LLC. Correct Craft, an Orlando, FL based marine company acquired Fluid Motion in 2026 which continue to make Ranger Tugss, Cutwater Boats, and Solara in Auburn, WA. The company website says that the hull needs to be “rock-solid, seaworthy, efficient, safe, handle well at speed and in close quarters and cut through the chop for a comfortable ride.” Thus the Ranger Tugs hulls “are designed to perform in all areas.”
Ranger Tugs include a bonded electrical system, and a foam-filled fiberglass stringer grid system. The cockpit is self-bailing, and the cleats, rails, and hardware are all stainless steel. The mast and upper helm fold to make the vessel easy to trailer.
Go With The Flow has a midnight blue hull. The entire hull has a Vinylester barrier coat. The outdoor seating is white vinyl. All the outdoor seating, outdoor tables, and salon door and some windows have tan Sunbrella covers. These provide both protection from the elements and privacy.
The swim platform on Go With The Flow is perfect for boarding the vessel while on a floating dock, or from the water. The integrated stainless steel swim ladder is to starboard, and is still accessible when the tender is mounted on the davit system. There are also fenders mounted aft which protect the swim platform while using the tender. The rails on the swim platform provide a measure of safety when the tender is deployed. A chain is across the rails, but parts convey with the vessel to make it a solid rail. The propane locker on the swim platform can act as a seat. There is sufficient room to walk between the mounted tender and the transom.
The cockpit is entered from the swim platform via a transom door to starboard, or via the gunwales on each side of the vessel. The cockpit deck is covered with Raptor decking, which was a factory installed upgrade. Go With The Flow has two fold-out seats on the gunwales, which add additional cockpit seating when docked or at anchor, without the need to store chairs. The seats match the aft two person bench seat at the teak cockpit double pedestal table. The cockpit has a hardtop, lined on the underside with a woven vinyl finish, on the forward section. There are opening hatches in the hardtop, as well as LED lighting. The back section is covered by part of the full tan Sunbrella cockpit enclosure. There are opening Eisenglass windows with integrated screens. The full enclosure was designed to also cover the steps to the command bridge.
A hot/cold wash-down/shower is located next to the transom door.
A cockpit sink is forward to starboard, with hot/cold fresh water. The battery switches are in the cabinet under the sink which has a water-tight door.
A Weaver davit system with a manual winch is located on the swim platform. A rail mounted bracket was added to mount a dingy motor, but a motor does not convey with the vessel.
A U-Line ice maker (non-operational) is under the steps leading to the command bridge. There are also five drink cup holders and two covered rod holders in the cockpit.
The engine room is accessed via the electric powered engine hatch. There is a lazarette on each side of the engine room compartment. Once the cockpit table is removed, the bench seat can be folded forward to allow access to the generator, located aft of the engine.
The bow on Go With The Flow has a hidden two person bow seat. Seat and back pads are removable for stowage when not in use. A removable fiberglass table is easily installed, which makes the foredeck yet another outside space for dining, entertaining or enjoying a favorite beverage.
The anchor is a Lewmar 22# anchor, with a bridle. There is 150’ of marked galvanized chain stored in the anchor locker which is flush with the deck. An additional 200’ of marked line also conveys with the vessel. There are foot controls for the Lewmar electric windlass on the deck; windlass controls are also on the helm station.
Steps to port lead from the cockpit to the command bridge on Go With The Flow. The standard teak steps were replaced with starboard steps, which are maintenance free. Another dining/entertaining space is aft of the helm station. Four people can sit comfortably on the two benches with a removeable teak table between them. The hardtop over the cockpit has the Kyocera 140 watt solar panel mounted on it.
The bridge forward is covered with a bimini top with a boot. A double bench seat faces the helm station. All the bridge upholstery matches the interior upholstery, and there are Sunbrella covers for them all, as well as for the helm station.
The mast folds down for easy bridge clearance. The helm also folds down for trailering the vessel, and there are places to store the handrails while on a trailer.

Salon/Dinette
The interior of Go With The Flow was designed to use the space efficiently. The sole is a combination of non-skid and “teak and holly” manufactured wood veneer. It is in excellent condition. The interior upholstery is neutral brown and cream. All of the windows have neutral striped curtains with tie backs for added privacy. All of the screened windows open, which provide great cross breeze. There are also opening ceiling hatches for additional fresh air flow.
The door from the cockpit into the interior has a beautiful etched window. There is a complementary etching on the salon window next to the door. The owner installed a privacy curtain in the salon, as well as privacy curtains inside the salon at the front windshield. These make it easier to close the salon area for privacy than snap-on exterior covers.
The dinette is to port, forward of the entry into the midship stateroom/day head. The dinette is a few steps up. The teak table can be folded so it is a full dining table; it can also be folded so two drink cup holders are revealed. The dinette can also be converted to a berth. A magazine rack is over the table.
The aft bench seat is fixed, and has seating for three people. The forward bench seat has seating for two. It can be folded so that it is part of the dinette, or so it can be used as the navigator’s seat. A wood tabletop can fold up so the navigator has use of a chart table.
The salon/dinette area has a reverse cycle AC/Heat unit,
Galley
The galley on Go With The Flow is located to starboard and is well laid out with good storage. Farthest aft is the Force 10 two burner propane stove and oven. A custom wood top covers the burners when not in use. A double stainless-steel sink with a single lever faucet with pull-out sprayer is forward of the range. One of the sinks has a cover which helps make additional counter space. There are four storage cabinets under the sinks. A large counter can be expanded by moving the helm station seat forward, and folding it up when not in use. There are two cabinets under the counter, each with two storage drawers. The top drawer has a cutlery rack built-in. The NovaKool refrigerator with freezer compartment is located under the helm seat. A Muave’ microwave oven is built-in under the aft dinette bench seat. A Dometic wine/beverage cooler is located under the front dinette bench seat.
Some galley equipment, including dishes and Magma nesting pots, convey with the vessel.
A hatch in the sole in front of the range/oven provides access to tanks, but also has space over the tanks that can be used for storage.
Lower Helm Station
The lower helm station is located to starboard, forward of the galley on Go With The Flow. The Springfield helm seat can be adjusted several ways, including sliding forward and turning. It also folds forward to provide a larger galley counter. There is a foot rest and step to the sliding door to starboard. This door allows access to the foredeck for line handling. The helm station is well organized and uncluttered. The four windows forward provide good visibility and each have a windshield wiper.
A Majestic 19” TV/DVD is mounted in the ceiling over the windshield windows and folds up for storage while underway; the TV can also be used to mirror the helm Garmin display.
Master Stateroom
Go With The Flow has an ensuite V-berth master stateroom. The two piece door is to center forward. The lower portion of the door folds in half for stowage and can be used for privacy when dressing. The upper portion of the door slides and provides complete privacy.
The island bed features a memory foam mattress. The mattress is split, to provide access to the large storage area below. There are several storage cabinets, with good storage. A wood tabletop folds down to provide an end table to port. The TV is mounted on the wall across from the berth.
There are several reading lights, and courtesy lights around the bed that are remote controlled and can be set to a variety of colors.
Master Head
The ensuite head on Go With The Flow is to port and can be entered from the master stateroom. The door has two towel bars and a hook. The head converts to a shower using the Plexiglas panels, which hang in the head when not in use, and the shower curtain. The shower faucet features a one-button shut-off to conserve water while not needing to adjust the temperature. The owners installed a larger shower curtain, and do not use the Plexiglas panels, but they do convey with the vessel.
The head also features a Tecma electric head, a blue glass bowl sink, a non-skid sole, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and storage under the vanity.
Midship Stateroom/Day Head
Go With The Flow has a midship stateroom/day head aft of the dinette, to port. There is a two piece door. The lower portion is smoked Plexiglas which folds in for stowage and can be used for privacy when dressing. The upper portion of the door is wood, and also folds, but can provide complete privacy.
The sole is non-skid. The vinyl seat lifts to reveal a Tecma electric day head. There are reading lights, and a hanging clothes bar for when the berth is not being used for guests.
2016 - Inflatable Hypalon RIB Tender with Weaver Dinghy Davit System with stand-offs and winch was a factory installed option.
2016 FLOAT-ON Tri-Axel Trailer with spare tire and rim, and electric brakes, conveys with the vessel.
