Master Cabin:
Queen island berth, a vanity with mirror and swing away seat, generous storage and hanging lockers. Ensuite head and Corian counter sink with separate stall and shower.
Pullman Berth:
Forward of the mast and to port is the Pullman berth with several drawers and locker underneath. To starboard is a vanity with a swing away seat, mirrors, and a hanging locker. Forward is an ensuite head with shower corian counter sink and access to the chain locker.
Galley:
The Galley consists of deep twin S/S sinks centerline with a regulated hot/cold water faucet, along with a separate S/S SeaGull charcoal water filter and faucet. There are also foot pumps for both fresh and seawater sink inputs. Dish, glass and cutlery storage space abound. The range is a three-burner gimbaled Force 10 Range with oven/broiler (new 2025). On deck to starboard, there are two 20-pound propane tanks in there locker. Included is a safety LPG panel with solenoid. The Sharp microwave oven is at eye level. The SeaFrost freezer and refrigerator system consists of two holding plates in the freezer and another in the refrigerator. The system can be operated three ways; Shore power, Generator power, or via the engine operated compressor. There is top and front opening access to the refrigerator compartment. A trash bin is strategically located next to the engine access door. Corian counter tops are throughout the boat; in the galley, the aft and forward head sink area and the side salon table between the two seats.
Navigation Station:
Makes a great office space with a PC monitor to accept laptop or PC input, Raymarine i70 instrument repeater and stereo. The AC and DC control panels are located here along with the VHF radio/AIS receiver. There is a single side band radio with insulated backstay and grounding plate. Fuel tank gauges and genset instrument panel are located inboard.
At the helm is a Raymarine C14W plotter and radar display. Wind/speed/depth instruments are located above the companionway and not only feed the repeater below but feed the main seatalk network and chart plotter as does the AIS receiver.
At the Helm: Raymarine C140W 14" display, chart plotter fully integrated with radar, AIS and ship's instruments. screen in the cockpit. Raytheon i60 Wind/Depth/Speed close-hauled indicators in cockpit. ICOM VHF radio. AutoHelm 7000 electric/hydraulic installed 2017. A remote windlass control. A pedestal mounted compass with cover at the helm.
Most notable in the deck layout is the ease of the access to the foredeck from the cockpit. The mid cockpit layout is designed for offshore with stanchions around the mast, substantial non skid (repainted 2017) on the cabin top and the main sail activated electrically form the cockpit for safe and easy operation. The foredeck is also well designed for offshore and is uncluttered and secure. All fore, side and aft decks are teak for both safety and beauty. The teak deck has been religiously maintained and is excellent condition.
The expansive aft deck features pulpit seats, a custom SS boarding ladder, along with Kato davits for dinghy storage and is a terrific deck for grilling via the Kumma grill and socializing while anchored. Also located in this area is the hydraulic backstay supporting the Questus radar mounting system and an Edson outboard motor storage device. All chocks are SS with incorporated nylon rollers to ease chaffing. Green Ayes has a huge lazarette storage accessed via its own deck hatch.
The cockpit comes with a dodger, bimini, connector, and a full Isinglass enclosure to completely seal the cockpit in adverse weather conditions. The front of the dodger glass was replaced in 2024 for extra clear viewing. The cockpit has excellent visibility, and is secure and roomy. It includes a leather covered Edson wheel, an ICOM VHF radio, and the Raytheon 7000 Auotpilot. The antenna for the cockpit VHF radio is located on the Questus radar mount. Interior spaces and the deck /cockpit are excellent, and reflect the highest quality in gear and workmanship.
Mast:
Hood electric in mast furling aluminum spar stepped on keel, with Windex, lighting arrester, wind instrument, Tri color anchor light and 3' VHF whip mounted on the mast top. GREEN AYES has been down/ up the ICW from Norfolk, VA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL and is ICW capable for bridge heights. The rig was pulled in 2017 with the furling motor serviced and mast painted from the gooseneck down.
Standing Rigging: Replace in 2017. The stern chainplate was upgraded and replaced and the bow anchor roller/deck fitting was removed and re-bedded.
Main Sail: Quantum dacron sail (2017) with electric in mast furling from cockpit
Genoa: Quantum dacron 120% sail (2017) with Harken roller furling.
Staysail: North, new UV cover 2025 installed on Harken roller furling
Running Rigging: All running rigging including running backstays replaced 2025
Spinnaker: North 1.5 oz Green/white cruising spinnaker with ATN sleeve. Spinnaker/drifter pole mounted on the front of the mast.
Boomvang: Forespar four to one rigid vang
Winches: Seven (7) Lewmar Ocean two (2) speed self-tailing winches. Primary winches are #66. Three (3) winch handles.
