Waste & Sanitation Systems

• Grey Water: Grey water from showers and wash basins will drain directly to sump boxes of 100 litre capacity. Grey water from galley services will drain directly overboard. Sump boxes discharge the grey via 2x Whale Gulper 320 24Vdc pumping directly overboard.
• Black Water: holding tank system using one Polyethylene tank for main accommodation and crew of 400 litres. Discharge through either Sealand T-Series 24 Vdc self-priming diaphragm pump directly overboard (refer to MARPOL regulations) or to a shore facility when available.

Fire Hydrant & Bilge Systems

• Bilge arrangement is divided into three compartments. Accommodation, Machinery and Crew. Monitored by the ship's monitoring system.
• Accommodation watertight space - 1 x 24V Rule 2000 bilge pump and 1 x 24V Rule 3700 bilge pump with dedicated float switches. In addition, the space forward of the engine room bulkhead and aft of the water-tight stabiliser compartment has 2 x 24V Rule 500 bilge pumps with dedicated float switches that will pump the water to the watertight bilge area to be extracted.
• Machinery space - 1 x 24V Rule 2000 bilge pump and 1 x 24V Rule 3700 bilge pump with dedicated float switches.

Fire Suppression and Detection
