John Hunter offers a very comfortable and bright interior layout. Forward is a master stateroom with queen sized berth and two generously sized, cedar-lined, drawers underneath. A drop-in storage compartment under the mattress provides addtional storage.The overhead hatch has been enlarged to bring in additiona light and ventilation.
To starboard, there is a large nicely finished head with a full-size stall shower. A door mounted on the aft bulkhead provides access to everything behind the helm station.The portside guest stateroom sleeps three, two in a double lower berth, and one in single upper (with lee cloths). Drop-in bin storage under the lower bunk is accessed under the mattress. Two ports provide ventilation.
The pilot house has seating for 4 with helm to starboard. The visibility from the helm is excellent with an almost 360 degree view. There is a large chart table with storage draw and additional storage under the seating. Sliding doors, port and starboard allow quick access to the side decks and bow.
The salon / galley area is large and bright. To port is a large L-shaped settee with teak table that can be converrted to sleep 2. The well laidout galley is to starboard and offers two under counter refrigerators, stainless steel sink, 3 burner propane stove / oven, and generous storage.
An Espar diesel heater keeps the boat comforable in all weather conditions and a beautiful Dickenson Artic Drip heater on the aft salon bulkhead keeps the boat warm and comfortable without using DC or AC power.
