Maximus III Yacht | 120' Crescent 2025

Maximus III — 2025 Launch | Turn‑Key, Fully Commissioned, and Ready to Cruise

Maximus III, launched in late 2025 and now fully commissioned following successful sea trials, is a brand‑new yacht designed for immediate adventure. Every detail has already been thoughtfully completed—step aboard and begin cruising without delay.

Seller’s Note:
A change in health circumstances prevents the owners from spending the time aboard they had planned. Throughout the build, they worked closely with Greg Marshall Design and appreciated the proximity and craftsmanship of Crescent Custom Yachts, making shipyard visits both enjoyable and collaborative. This partnership resulted in the timeless interior styling and versatile adventure performance now signature to the Crescent 120.

The owners took great pride in creating an interior that is elegant, inviting, and enduring. Combined with true Trans‑Atlantic capability and an adventure‑ready platform, Maximus III is ideally suited for long‑range passages and extended remote cruising.

The sellers genuinely love this yacht and, if possible, would appreciate the opportunity for a one‑week charter‑back arrangement with the future owner.

Maximus III is an exceptional long‑range displacement yacht crafted for owners who value adventure, comfort, and efficient performance. Purpose‑built for versatility, she is equally at home cruising warm tropical waters as she is exploring the rugged coastlines of Canada and Alaska.

Designed with family and guest enjoyment in mind, Maximus III maximizes every deck with inviting spaces tailored for relaxation, entertainment, and extended cruising. She has already proven herself across numerous voyages—exploring the San Juan Islands, Canada’s Sunshine Coast, and premier destinations throughout the Pacific Northwest and Mexico.

Powered by CAT C‑18 engines, she delivers remarkable fuel efficiency with a comfortable 12‑knot cruise and true trans‑Atlantic range. Reducing speed to 8–9 knots extends her endurance even further. A refined bow entry and bulbous bow enhance both performance and sea‑kindliness, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride in a wide variety of conditions.

A standout feature of Maximus III is her elegant cockpit, designed as a multifunctional adventure platform. Whether hosting sunset gatherings, salmon fishing in northern waters, or pursuing pelagic species in warmer climates, this space blends utility with elegance. From any viewpoint—approaching from astern or admiring her profile—the cockpit’s layout is visually striking and provides a seamless transition for guests boarding from the tender or preparing for a day of exploration.

Remarkably, three of the yacht’s five staterooms are full‑beam accommodations, each offering views to both port and starboard—an exceptional feature that enhances light, spaciousness, and the overall guest experience.  In total, there are 5 Owner/Guest Staterooms, 10 heads, and 2 wet bars - including 4 separate dining areas aboard.

Beautifully executed, efficient underway, and built for global cruising, Maximus III represents an outstanding opportunity for buyers seeking a modern, proven yacht designed for extended adventures with family and friends.

Welcome Aboard Maximus III – Vessel Walk-through.

Main Salon

As you enter the Main Deck Salon doors you are greeted by the light-colored surfaces with all flooring in white oak with white oak, maple, and textured panels. The goal of the owner was his design vision to create a spacious and timeless interior that was clean and crisp, able to bring in natural light from the windows throughout the yacht.

Every detail was looked at carefully, from the exquisite white & honey onyx to the veins in white quartz for subtle connections in color and movement.  This includes the overhead ceiling, which makes use of strips of maple and Majelite to run the length of the salon and forward into the galley to enhance the light throughout the interior.

The main salon features storage cabinets along the windows on each side and counters.  Hunter Douglass blinds are controlled remotely.

Salon couches are completed in white, with a long settee on the port side with ottoman, and an L-shaped settee facing it on starboard.  A custom designed square coffee table sits between and complimented with a smaller square side table.  The salon seating area and dining room are complimented by (2) Symmetry 50-X electric fireplace for ambiance and/ or warmth.  The fireplace features separate the salon from the dining area to port and the Salon bar to starboard.  Both Salon and Dining are each treated to their own fireplace feature.

For media entertainment, the 65” Salon Samsung HDTV is housed in an island counter, raising up for the salon via hi/lo switch at the outboard dining side or remote.  Two separate Starlink units are located on the radar arch that provide data throughout the yacht.

The Dining table is exquisite with up-lighting under the cream onyx inset with comfortable chairs complemented in white. These fireplace units also provide ambiance, coupled with the overhead feature and views out the 8 windows along the length of the salon.  The cream onyx round light above and the lighted onyx inset into the oval teak table add to the attention to detail and luxury that Maximus III wanted to create.  The décor of this yacht was created to have crisp clean lines and curves, but nothing over the top ornate to take away from the vistas just outside the windows for stately elegance.

Large dinner parties are designed for the aft deck table or the sundeck to take advantage of the ambient lighting and views and destinations Maximus III’s range makes possible.

Adjacent to the dining table on the starboard side is the full bar.  Topped in gorgeous back-lit cream onyx, the salon bar features Subzero Wine Fridge, Thermador Drawer Fridge, wet bar, and storage.  Round charging station pops up in-counter along with another in-counter refuse bin with circle top for keeping both the space and counter tidy during service.

For protection the cream onyx is topped with 3M clear PPF for a durable finish and reduced maintenance and to prevent etching.

The layout of the forward Salon and Dining area is a central staircase column – The port side of the central stairway column takes you up to the Bridge deck Level for Wheelhouse and the private Owner’s Sky suite, the starboard stairway takes you down to the Lower Deck and Guests Quarters

On the Main Deck level, you can continue down each side of the salon outboard of the central stairway column to the Galley.

Side Deck Doors on each side at the forward end of the salon services both decks.

The Port and Starboard passageways to the Galley offer a large pantry closet and cabinet storage to port, as well as Day Head and cabinet storage to starboard.

Main Deck - Galley

Full-Beam Galley

The Galley is designed as a California Kitchen that offers a unique setting for entertaining as well as camaraderie as a unique and comfortable space. It is truly one of the standout features of Maximus III. Designed around the owner’s vision of welcoming friends and family for coffee, snacks, and shared meals, the space evolved far beyond the original plans to become exactly what was intended—warm, functional, and exceptional. Spanning the vessel’s full beam and framed by six expansive windows, the Galley is bright and inviting in all conditions. Light woods and quartz countertops enhance the natural light, making it a perfect spot to start the day.

The L shaped quartz countertop with bar stool seating adds a comfortable touch and the large oval quartz tabletop adds a unique and comfortable setting for fresh ground coffee beans from a Zura coffee maker and a tasty breakfast.

Along the port side runs a large countertop with the stovetop and oven positioned on the forward bulkhead and generous prep space stretching fore and aft. Wolf appliances anchor the culinary setup, including the stovetop, oven, convection steam oven, drawer‑style microwave, and hood fan.

Refrigeration and storage are equally robust: with two 48-inch Jennair side‑by‑side refrigerator/freezers.  The galley also features 2 Sub‑Zero drawer refrigerators to starboard, and a Sub‑Zero fridge‑freezer with ice maker to port, along with a hot water faucet and trash compactor—everything needed for comfortable, extended cruising.

Ample Storage continues in the passageways from the Dining Room, where the port‑side pantry closet offers ample shelving. On the starboard side, the passageway from the Salon Bar includes a day head inboard and a run of glass cabinets outboard, complete with full‑height slide‑out glass storage.

Upon entering the Galley from starboard, a dedicated coffee station sits atop the quartz counter at the end of the curved dinette. Adventure Cockpit And Crew Area

Adventure Cockpit

Built as both an entertainment hub and an adventure platform, the cockpit is designed to support everything from serious fishing to relaxed beach‑club lounging at the water’s edge. It naturally becomes a gathering place at day’s end, offering a comfortable space to enjoy sunsets and unwind after time on the water.

The swim step, cockpit, and portions of the hull‑side sponsons are finished in teak. The sponsons provide secure footing when tending the tender alongside and house handrails for managing fenders. Centered within the cockpit, a lidded bait tank is integrated cleanly into the varnished teak cap rails. These cap rails are further protected with PPF film to guard against weather and abrasion, and full Stamoid covers—including on the doors—add long‑term UV and scratch protection.

On each side of the Crew Door, two generous stone‑topped counters finished in white quartz house Vitifrigo drink fridges (Port), additional Vitifrigo unit and separate ice maker under the starboard counter..  The fish‑box ice maker controls are located to starboard, inside the cabinet door beside the sink for convenient access.  Cabinet space below the sink.

The cockpit includes three deck hatches: a 39‑inch centerline hatch providing access to the lazarette and steering gear, and port and starboard hatches that serve as underway storage or can function as 48‑inch fish boxes when desired.

For docking operations, heavy‑duty cleats and hawsers are supported by electric warping winches on both sides of the aft cockpit. The hawsers are wide enough to ship water, and the cockpit layout allows shore‑power cords to exit cleanly to either side through dual Glendinning 100‑amp systems.

Furthest aft lies the Crew Galley and Lounge, while forward are two comfortable crew staterooms positioned on each side of the passageway. Crew members consistently note the generous headroom, efficient layout, and the benefits of being located in the stern, where the accommodations feel more spacious.

The crew door provides direct access to the Aft Crew Area and the port‑side Crew Galley. This well‑equipped space includes a 2nd Miele washer‑dryer stack, Vitifrigo fridge, Wolf microwave, Miele dishwasher, sink with ample counter space, and a hot plate—allowing crew to prepare meals independently when desired. The vessel was designed with a smaller core crew in mind and a relaxed, family‑style meal environment, with all guests welcome. For charter operations, additional crew such as a dedicated chef can be added as needed.

Engine Room

Engine Room

The Engine Room aboard Maximus III was designed with one guiding priority: maximize service space while integrating the full suite of systems required for long‑range, all‑season cruising. Crescent Custom Yachts and Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects worked closely with the Owner’s build team to strike the right balance between available volume and serviceability, resulting in a machinery space that is highly organized, accessible, and thoughtfully engineered.

Along the port side, the layout includes the dual Blue Seas Clearmate ESCM 1800 watermakers, the Dometic chiller rack, and system pressure tanks positioned outboard for straightforward access during routine maintenance.

A notable northern‑latitude upgrade is the Kabola system built in Holland. Installed above the port main engine and integrates with the Dometic network to provide efficient heat in cold‑water regions where reverse‑cycle systems lose effectiveness. Beyond comfort, the Kabola meaningfully reduces electrical load in marinas with limited shore power by circulating heated fluid through the existing Dometic plumbing, allowing the chillers to remain idle. The boiler operates primarily on DC power, enabling quiet operation at anchor and reducing generator hours over the life of the yacht. It is also integrated to heat the hot tub when desired. Whether cruising the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia’s Inside Passage, or Alaska, the Kabola system delivers reliable warmth with lower electrical demand—an advantage that becomes obvious season after season.

Against the aft bulkhead, one generator sits to port and the other to starboard, positioned for balanced weight distribution and easy technician access.

Centered between the main engines, the machinery island consolidates key systems. The port face of the island houses the ABT hydraulic tank, filters, and pump, while the starboard side contains fuel filtration and manifold valving serving the main engines and generators. This arrangement keeps critical service points grouped logically and reachable from the main walkway.

Along the starboard hull side, additional systems are positioned for clarity and function: the Headhunter Tidal Wave HMX treatment system sits forward outboard, followed by the Techsol Marine ship’s electrical switchboard and valving for grey and black water located just beneath the starboard main engine exhaust system.

At the forward end of the space, the Ship’s Alarm and Monitoring System (SAMS) touchscreen panel is mounted prominently at the starboard walkway. This central display provides real‑time visibility into tank levels, AC and DC power, fire systems, bilge status, and other essential vessel monitoring functions.

Sundeck

Sundeck —

Whether taking in whales breaching along Canada’s Sunshine Coast or enjoying a quiet sunset at anchor in the Sea of Cortez, the Sundeck was designed to be a gift in all weather conditions. The Hestan 42 inch BBQ anchors the space, capable of turning out exceptional meals as guests gather around the Sundeck table. Framed by an L‑shaped settee, the Sundeck offers an inviting variety of seating options including fixed bar stools, dining chairs, an observation seat beside the Le Broc helm chair, and a sun pad positioned next to the hot tub.

A Coastal Spa hot tub—with waterfall feature and integrated lighting—provides a refreshing and luxurious way to start the morning, making an early‑day dip with a warm mug in hand one of life’s simple onboard pleasures.

For enhanced privacy, a discreet crew hatch and ladder connect the Wheelhouse to the Sundeck, allowing crew to provide service without interrupting guest use of either the Sundeck or the Owner’s Deck below.

At the heart of the space is a centerline helm station equipped with a navigation screen and flanked by an observation bench for three to port. Beneath the radar arch, an expansive wet bar and additional seating create a natural gathering zone. A large‑screen TV mounted on the starboard support ensures guests never miss the game, while a convenient day head to starboard, plus the hot tub and sunbathing pad, complete the amenities of this topmost deck.

Safety equipment includes two Survitec 12‑man life rafts, an EPIRB, and fire extinguishers. A storage access door to starboard of the helm station provides entry beneath the dash for stowing spares, toolboxes, canvas, and other necessities. Additional storage is located beneath the settees and the sun pad surrounding the hot tub.

Starboard Stern Helm Control

This station was carefully reviewed to take advantage of view along the length of the vessel when docking or backing into a slip.  It is located at the top of the steps from the cockpit.  The location allows good visibility coming alongside a dock on either side of the vessel.  Captain is able to see the distance to the dock through the cockpit hawsers when docking on the port side as the vessel closes the distance.  Maximus III is quite responsive to helm input making it easy on both captain and crew to dock and undock smartly.

The Starboard Helm Control station is set in a recessed hatch on the starboard coaming just aft of the stainless support post.  Views up the side deck and hull, aft to the swim step, or across to port side of the aft deck and cockpit give the captain options for any docking situation if the fixed helm station is necessary.

Otherwise, use of the Yacht Controller for Engines, Bow and Stern Thrusters will be the normal choice.  The fixed stern control station is available for convenience and backup.

The Aft Deck is a welcoming space aboard Maximus III.  Side deck door access for stairs, as well as steps on each side of the centerline settee and table provide options for access down to the cockpit. The settee was designed to have wide seating for maximum comfort.  A nap just might be in order, something the wide seating was created to welcome.

The teak table features a stone inset.  Side service counters at the forward end next to the Trend Main Salon Doors allow for service during meals on the aft deck.  A TV is mounted on the Port Side.  The Main Deck day head is located around the Port side walkway.

Exterior Deck Areas

Exterior Decks.

Starting from forward, the foredeck presents an elegantly tiered design, with central steps descending from the Portuguese bridge to a serene open‑air lounge. Two expansive sunbathing pads flank the space, offering guests a luxurious place to unwind while enjoying sweeping views and the chance to spot passing wildlife. A sculpted bow seat provides an additional vantage point—perfect for relaxed, secure viewing underway.

Dual Muir windlasses, a centerline anchor‑locker hatch, and a discreetly integrated deck‑wash system speak to the vessel’s commitment to both beauty and robust functionality. As evening falls, the foredeck is transformed by warm, architectural lighting subtly positioned beneath the extended overhangs of the sunbeds and along the stair treads, creating an inviting glow that enhances both ambiance and safety.

The side decks are gracefully accessed from the bridge‑deck level on both port and starboard sides, with finely crafted teak steps leading down to the main‑deck walkways. Teak is used with intention—reserved for areas where comfort, style, and secure footing matter most. The foredeck, Portuguese bridge, side decks, and sun deck feature a premium non‑skid finish ideal for warm‑water cruising, while the adventure cockpit, swim step, aft deck, and Owner’s Deck are finished in teak to provide dependable all‑season traction from Canadian and Alaskan reaches to Mexico’s sunlit coves.  Alternate destinations can be achieved given the range of Maximus III, including Panama Canal and Caribbean in the Atlantic or Marquesas Islands in the Pacific.
