En 2007, nous avons trouvé le bateau parfait pour nos aventures : le Beneteau 393. Après avoir exploré plusieurs options, il est rapidement devenu évident que ce modèle était celui qu’il nous fallait. Un mélange parfait de performance, de confort et de polyvalence, que ce soit pour de longues traversées ou pour profiter de moments en famille. Avec ses grandes capacités en eau et en carburant, et un agencement rare avec deux salles de bain pour cette taille, il est vite devenu notre véritable maison sur l’eau.

Notre aventure a commencé sur le lac Champlain, mais nous n’avons pas mis longtemps avant de partir à l’aventure plus loin. Naviguer sur la voie Intracoastal a été une expérience inoubliable, où le Beneteau 393, avec son tirant d’eau de 1,55 m, nous a permis d’explorer des eaux peu profondes et de découvrir des endroits cachés.

Un des souvenirs les plus marquants a été lorsque nous avons accosté au 79th Street Boat Basin à New York. Ce fut l’occasion de mélanger voile et culture, avec une soirée magique à l’opéra du MET — une parfaite illustration de notre philosophie : profiter des belles choses de la vie, où que le vent nous mène.

L’aventure a continué lorsque nous avons mis le cap sur les îles Vierges britanniques. Nous avons passé plusieurs années à explorer les Caraïbes, et le 393 a toujours été un compagnon fidèle, que ce soit sous 38 nœuds de vent ou en croisière tranquille dans les eaux des Bahamas.

Ce Beneteau 393 a été bien plus qu’un simple bateau : il a été un véritable ami tout au long de notre voyage rempli d’explorations, de joie et de souvenirs inoubliables. Il est maintenant prêt pour son prochain propriétaire et pour de nouvelles aventures.

In 2007, we found the perfect boat for our adventures – the Beneteau 393. After looking at a lot of options, it quickly became clear this was the one. A perfect mix of performance, comfort, and versatility, whether for long passages or just enjoying time with family. With its generous water and fuel capacities, and a rare two-bathroom layout for this size, it quickly became our home on the water.

We started our journey on Lake Champlain, but it didn’t take long before we were off on bigger adventures. Exploring the Intracoastal Waterway was one of the highlights, where the Beneteau 393’s 5.1-foot draft made it easy to navigate shallow waters and discover hidden spots along the way.

One of our favorite memories was mooring at the 79th Street Boat Basin in New York City. It was the perfect blend of sailing and culture, with an unforgettable night at the MET opera – just one example of how we’ve always embraced life’s treasures wherever the wind took us.

Our journey continued as we headed to the British Virgin Islands, spending several years in the Caribbean. The 393 was a reliable companion, whether we were sailing through 38 knots of wind or enjoying the calm beauty of the Bahamas.

This Beneteau 393 has been more than just a boat – it’s been a true companion on a journey full of exploration, joy, and unforgettable memories. It’s now ready for its next owner to continue the adventure.
