Integrel E-Power is a high-efficiency, high-output, large-frame alternator. It is fitted to the front of an existing inboard diesel engine and collects the spare power generated to deliver up to 9kW (or 18kW in a dual system) of energy. Spare energy is stored in a 48V battery bank for later use. Controlled by an advanced power management system, Integrel E-Power leverages the substantial power differential between an engine’s optimal efficiency load and the boat propeller’s load. The system meticulously regulates the variable load (over 100 times per second) and complements the propeller load to ensure the engine consistently runs at or near peak performance and efficiency. Consequently, the engine operates with peak efficiency at all times, delivering high energy output, while optimising fuel efficiency to its fullest potential. Rest assured that Integrel E-Power allows your boat to run at full speed at any time. The system automatically monitors throttle input and will instantly power down if full engine power is needed. Once stable RPM is restored, Integrel E-Power resumes full power generation. The system’s added weight does not affect boat speed, as it remains tied to propeller speed with a modern, well-governed engine.
