2000 Dufour Nautitech 395 Owners Version, 3 Cabin 2 head. Well kept and never chartered. Starboard hull devoted entirely to master suite with house sized head and shower; and large stand-up storage locker in bow. This is a real sailboat that crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Nautitech in France to the Miami Boat Show, where she was first sold. She is capable of 15 knots on a beam reach and can point as high as 30 degrees. She is a well-built yacht handling 70 knot winds and 35 foot waves with aplomb. You may not be able to take the conditions she can.
Extensive refit in 2026 including but not limited to conversion from diesel to diesel electric and conversion from saildrives to prop shafts with regen. Diesel electric motors save fuel, are quieter and have greater torque; and have been used in ships since 1903. Prop shafts are better than saildrives which are used only because they are easy for the manufacturer to install. Saildrives often have problems with electrolosis due to inadequate grounding combined with aluminum in salt water, which is drawn through the interior of the saildrive to cool the diesel engine.
Inflation causes new catamarans to be high priced but FRP lasts forever. Take advantage of the fact that I paid much less for my catamaran and kept her very nice due to love.
