Do not consider purchasing any Sea Ray 480 Sundancer without first personally inspecting this seasonally used, low hour yacht. She has been very well maintained by her experienced and conscientious owners and it shows. Moored in the fresh/brackish waters of the Connecticut River in Essex CT.

Bold and innovative styling has been a Sundancer trademark for many years, an assertion that few marine industry pros would likely dispute. That was certainly in evidence in 2008 with the introduction of the 48 Sundancer, a remarkably handsome hardtop cruiser whose sweeping lines and distinctive hull side ports reset the styling standard for boats in her class.

Built on a beamy deep-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom and prop pockets to reduce shaft angles, the opulent two-stateroom interior of the 48 Sundancer is a sophisticated blend of high-gloss cherry cabinets, Ultra-leather seating, hardwood floors and designer galley appliances. Each stateroom is private. The forward head is split with the head and sink to port and the shower to starboard.

A 26' flat-screen TV/ DVD is standard in the salon, and the aft head has a separate stall shower. The 48's sleek fiberglass hardtop-which shades a good part of the cockpit-includes dual manual hatches as well as power side windows. An optional hydraulic swim platform can support a dinghy.
Cruise in the low 20s with 540hp Cummins V-drive diesels 28-29 knots top. The gorgeous curves and aerodynamic profile of the 48 Sea Ray Sundancer are sure to attract attention. Outfitted with a unique, electric windshield vent system that allows for an unbroken line from deck to roof plus a sleek hardtop with two large hatches.

Arrangement Plan

When entering the Sea Ray 480 Sundancer the cockpit adjacent to the large hydraulic swim platform tender lift, the transom door opens to the large cockpit with U-shaped seating and entertainment center. One step up you'll arrive at the helm deck with L-Settee to port and double helm pedestal seats to starboard. The helm deck is enclosed with fixed glass windows on the sides and windscreen electric powering opening windows on the sides, overhead hatches and a removable canvas cockpit cover. The sliding companionway hatch and steps provide access to the lower deck arriving in the large salon to starboard with L-settee and storage cabinets with galley to port. Forward through the bulkhead is the master cabin with island queen enclosed head to port and enclosed shower stall to starboard. Aft of the galley is a guest cabin with two twin bunks and a head with shower. There is a large sun pad on the four deck and workable side decks with stainless handrails.
The interior is finished with a sophisticated blend of high-gloss cherry cabinets, Ultraleather seating, hardwood floors and designer galley appliances
