One of the trawlers many great features is the addition of a 2nd head that was added to the owners suite.
In my 40+ years in the boating industry I will attest that this is one of the cleanest vessels I have had the privilege to list. The interior, exterior and machinery spaces are clean, with no mold, mildew, holding tank or diesel odors.

The interior of "Sherlock Holmes" is a combination of handcrafted teak, light colored softgoods and large salon windows that create a warm, inviting and comfortable living environment. The fit-n-finish throughout the vessel is impressive, since 1991 ASIA Harbor Yacht Builders has been handcrafting Kadey-Krogen trawlers and it shows in every aspect of the vessel.
Salon
The main salon is accessed from the cockpit via dual doors that when open create a "great room" and offers excellent living and entertaining space. The salon walls and cabinetry are handcrafted teak in a satin finish with beautiful teak & spruce flooring. Salon features include a u-shaped starboard settee with a hi-low teak table that converts from a coffee table to dining table, port side settee that converts into a double berth, flat panel Sansung TV on a hi-low lift, beverage center with coffee maker and wine cooler and a large u-shaped, well equipped galley.

The head features a beautiful handcrafted teak vanity with stone countertop, tiled backsplash, under-mount sink, single lever Grohe faucet, mirroed door medicine cabinet, drawer and cabinet storage. Other features include a linen locker, teak & holly flooring, stainless steel portlight,m Dometic toilet and a large stall shower.
Owners suite
The owners suite features an island queen bed with 6X built-in bed pedestal drawers, a factory ordered ensuite head, vanity with 7X drawers, stone countertop, large mirror and 3X lights. Other features include dual hanging lockers, storage shelving on both sides of the bed, good cabinet storage, stainless steel portlights and a skylight with Ocean-air screens.

The galley is located in the forward starboard section of the main salon. Features include stone countertops, abundant storage and quality appliances. The beverage center located accross from the galley and similary to the galley offers stone countertop, abundant overhead and under counter storage, Techni Vorm coffee maker and wine cooler.

Electrical power for this KK44 is via Shore power 250/125VAC, Northern Lights 12kw generator, Magnasine 4kw inverter/charger and the ships DC battery systems. All power is managed through the AC/DC distribution panels located in the pilothouse.
The engine room is exceptionally well kept, while not being stand-up headroom, it is smartly designed to offer easy access to all marchinery housed in the space.
Key features include a John Deere 4045 diesel engine, ABT hydraulic driven get-home system, ABT stabilizer and bow/stern thrusters, ESI fuel polishing system, Northern Lights generator, Water maker, Hurrican II hydronic diesel heating system and Parker/Racor crossover fuel/water separation filters for the main engine and Northern Lights generator.
The navigation, cruising and entertainment systems onboard Sherlock Holmes is a combination of Garmin, I-Com, FLIR, Fusion, Samsung and Starlink equipment.

Pilothouse
The pilothouse is accessed via the main salon and port & starboard sidedeck Dutch style access doors (Diamond Sea Glaze doors). The space is open, bright and offers the helmsperson and cruising guests excellent visibility from the 2X STIDD helm chairs and the raised (higher than the helm chairs) convertable cruising settee.

Getting aboard the KK44AE is very easy thanks to the 3X aft deck boardings gates. There are both port and starboard side deck boarding gates and a transom door leading to/from the swim platform, so no matter what side you dock your vessel or stern in, you have ease of access to get aboard your krogen.
Getting from the aft deck to foredeck is also very easy as the wide staboard side recessed walkway makes moving for and aft between the area a breeze. The aft and covered side decks offer beautiful teak decking while the foredeck is a non-skid.
As you move about the KK44AE you will notice the handrails strategically place around the vessel, along with the stainless deck rails that ensure as you walk about the trawler you will feel safe and secure.

The enclosed aft deck is spacious, features include polycarbonate windows, a table & teak chairs, teak decking, 3X boarding gates, diesel heat outlet, deck washdown, both 250/125/50A & 125/30A shore power inlets, transom shower and dual salon access doors. Large lazarette storage beneath the aft deck.
The hull of Sherlock Holmes is LP painted, I believe its Flag Blue but could be inncorrect and I will confirm, but whatever color it turns out to be, it's beautiful.
