Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines (350 HP each), she offers strong, dependable performance, complemented by a notably wide 14-foot beam. For comparison, many newer models in this class—such as the Sea Ray 370 Sundancer—carry a 12-foot beam, making the additional space onboard immediately noticeable both inside and out.  

The current owners have cared for her well over the past eight years and have consistently maintained the boat to a high standard.

She is currently berthed at the Marriott Marina in downtown San Diego, with slip transfer subject to marina approval.  

Interior

The cabin layout is both spacious and functional, with a comfortable and convertible settee to starboard, and a large galley with ample storage to port. All cabinetry has modern wood tones.  

Forward, the V-berth features a large double berth, abundant storage, and excellent natural light, creating an inviting space to unwind and relax after a day in the sun. 

The head compartment is generously sized and includes a dedicated shower.

Cabin flooring has been upgraded from the original carpet to wood, giving the interior a cleaner, more modern feel.

The air conditioning system performs well and keeps the cabin cool during hot summer days.  

Southern Cross sleeps 4 comfortably with privacy from the V-berth with a sliding door.  

Exterior

The helm and exterior seating areas have been upgraded with SeaDek flooring, providing both comfort underfoot and a clean look. 

The enclosure features high-quality isinglass with excellent clarity, offering outstanding visibility from the helm while maintaining protection from the elements. Whether underway or at anchor, the helm station feels open, with clear sightlines in all directions.  

The wide beam carries through to the cockpit and stern, creating a sizable layout that is well-suited for entertaining. Multiple guests can be accommodated comfortably without feeling congested.  

For those who enjoy fishing, the boat is well equipped with multiple rod holders throughout and dual bait tank capability, including an additional bait tank professionally plumbed into the system alongside the factory unit.  

All exterior lighting has been upgraded to LED, improving both efficiency and nighttime visibility while reducing heat. 

Mechanical

Under the hatch are twin Caterpillar diesel engines with only 2,500 hours. These engines are well regarded for their durability and long service life, offering confidence for extended use. All maintenance is up to date.  

The Westerbeke 7.6 kW generator has roughly 1,300 hours and fires right up, providing reliable power away from shore.

The tachometers were replaced in 2019. As a result, the readings at the helm do not reflect total engine hours. The original tachometers are included, and total engine hours are accurately represented in this listing. The owners maintain a log of all services completed during their ownership.
