"Sweet" may be the most appropriately named boat I have ever known! She is Sweet! The Eastbay 49 may be one of the most elegant designs by C. Raymond Hunt. "Sweet" is an outstanding example of a properly maintained and loved yacht that will turn heads in any harbor. Main engines upgraded to C-12s in 2003, generator and tender new 2023 and most else at one time or another. "Sweet" is in near new condition for a fraction of the price.

Access from port or starboard though the midship gates to the wide side decks, to the covered cockpit or the hydraulic swim platform with dinghy cradle makes boarding from many different levels very easy.
The transom door to the cockpit from the swim platform is on the starboard side. Cockpit has a mezzanine bench seat facing aft (with direct engine room access under a seat), flip up seating inside the transom and still has room for more chairs.
Three wide steps on starboard lead to the fully air-conditioned aft salon and helm area. Next going forward there is an “L” shaped dinette on port and bench seat on starboard. Helm station on starboard has a bench seat with room for two, dual Garmin MFD screens and more great electronics (details to follow). On port is an outstanding navigator station with a bench seat for two, a hidden bar area, several storage cabinets, and its’ own Garmin MFD display.
Proceeding down a stairway slightly to starboard is access to the lower salon, galley and staterooms with ensuite heads. On port is the “U” shaped galley with great storage and counter space. To starboard is the “U” shaped dinette with flip up table and even more storage. Proceeding forward is the hallway to the staterooms.
Twin berth guest stateroom to port opposite the guest head with shower. This head is also the “day head” with direct access from the hallway. Forward is the master stateroom with a centerline queen berth, lots of storage, and a private head and separate stall shower to port.
Natural teak flooring in cockpit and helm area in excellent condition. Teak and holly cabin sole below.
Helm & Electronics
Great 360-degree visibility from the raised and air-conditioned helm! Three-sided hard enclosure with hardtop and two opening overhead hatches. All electronics have been updated since new.
Galley
Impressive for a 50' boat the galley is near mid-ship for minimal motion while underway. Abundant counter and storage space on three sides.
Accommodations
Master stateroom forward has a centerline queen size berth with easy access from either side. Cedar lined hanging lockers. Lots of cabinets and drawers in every direction. Master head has direct and private entrance from the stateroom and a separate stall shower.
