Wind & Wine Boat | 42' Beneteau 2002

Beneteau's Oceanis 42cc Clipper Center Cockpit combines the beauty of classic lines above waterline with the performance of a modern keel and rudder below waterline.  She's designed to point well, sail quickly, and handle rough conditions with ease and comfort.

"Wind & Wine" is a solid cruising boat that is ready for her new owner to upgrade her as they see fit.  With a bit of TLC and the nav electronics that you install she'll be a great boat to liveaboard and cruise on.  Her hull is in great shape as are her like-new furling genoa and in-mast furling mainsail.

Also - the buyer can apply to keep the premium slip that she is in.

The vessel is in good condition with low engine hours and is priced so the buyer has room to do add and upgrade onboard equipment.  The teak in the cockpit could stand to be stripped and oiled, but other wood on deck is in good condition.  Caulking around skylight windows could be cleaned up and trimmed, and there are other minor projects that could really dress up the vessel. The owner recently had a new genoa installed on the furler.  Mainsail is older but in useable condition.  Overall this is a very solid boat that is priced to sell quickly.

  • Low Engine Hours only ~825
  • Reverse cycle AC / Heat
  • Bimini over cockpit - good condition
  • New genoa and sheets
  • Large aft cabin w/ big bed
  • Interior wood in very good condition
  • Hull topsides recently polished and waxed
  • Priced low to allow buyer to add / upgrade...

Manufacturer Provided Description

Designed by world-renowned naval architects, Groupe Finot, the Oceanis 42 CC is a classy bluewater passagemaker that features numerous standard innovations at a value price that is rather remarkable. The 42 CC entices the eye of the traditional yachtsman with the beauty of her striking classic transom. Never seen before in the Beneteau Center Cockpit series, this brand new design's sleek deck line creates a lean fetching profile while maintaining utmost functionality. On deck, the stylish hard dodger with opening windows provides extraordinary protection to the spacious center cockpit. Standard bulkhead steering opens up the cockpit making it extremely easy to entertain and maneuver about. The expansive aft deck is big enough to accommodate several lounge chairs and is perfect for relaxing while at anchor. One of the 42 CC's most interesting innovative features is found aft: a sliding section in the aft deck conceals a two-tread staircase leading to an exquisite boarding platform on the drop-down transom. While underway, the transom / boarding platform pulls up shut to form the classic transom. Like all Beneteaus, the interior of the 42 CC incorporates beautifully crafted cherry stained cabinetry and joinery. Large overhead panoramic deck lights flood the main salon with light and ventilation. The gourmet galley features plenty of storage for all cooking paraphernalia and has loads of counter space. The luxurious master suite is equipped with a comfy centerline berth, flanking settees for lounging, and a built-in dressing table. But perhaps one of the best features of the 42 CC is the incredible amount of storage throughout.
