Bahamas Charter Yacht Show 2024: Best Yachts On Display

The Denison charter team spent four days in Nassau at the Bahamas Charter Show this January. The show had an impressive turnout, including 83 charter yachts on display (eight of which were Denison charters), 165 charter brokers in attendance, and over 300 visitors, according to the team–which included Charter Managers Allison Cecilio and Madeline Mancini, along with Charter Specialists Jennifer Saia, Rose Jolis, Megan Cashmore, and Nadia Martinez. Denison’s registered yachts experienced a high level of engagement from charter brokers in attendance. All the yachts were impeccably maintained, featuring luxurious tablescapes, showcasing order in both the interior and exterior areas, and highlighting the professionalism of their crews, all decked out in their appropriate branded uniforms, as shared by Nadia.

“As a first-time visitor, the Bahamas Charter Yacht Show truly was a remarkable experience! This show proved to be the best place to engage with captains and crews as they pull out all the stops to showcase experiences they’re able to offer charter clients. While I had many favorites, Denison’s impressive lineup of yachts–STAY SALTY, REAL SUMMERTIME, BRANDI WINE, ROMEO FOXTROT, ODIN, DREAM ON, and MAGNUM RIDE–received overwhelmingly positive feedback from charter brokers. The brokers’ enthusiasm to book charters in the Bahamas is not only alive, but strengthening, affirming the Bahamas’ enduring status as a premier charter destination.”

Particularly, Nadia focused on STAY SALTY: “It was undoubtingly the star of our fleet and stood out as the highlight, drawing the attention of numerous visitors, including close to 30 charter brokers who eagerly toured the yacht. Its eco-conscious approach to chartering generated significant buzz, aligning well with the increasing demand for environmentally conscious charter experiences. The brokers’ dinner, hosted on Thursday evening, was seamlessly executed, and further enhanced the yacht’s already positive reviews. It goes without saying that the success of its debut can be attributed to the incredible crew on board. Their professionalism and pleasant disposition left all visitors excited about potential future bookings. All credit for this success is undoubtedly due to the amazing captain and crew.”

Rose shared her own experience in the Bahamas: “The show was full of excitement and great energy from the crew. One of my favorite boats that is an asset to the market is REMEMBER WHEN, which won best tablescape for lunch/dinner. She had a very experienced captain and crew on board and had the most fabulous popcorn bar set up with her Moroccan theme. She even has a pizza oven on board! Other boats I loved were ARTEMIS, MEMENTO VIVERE, and the 68’ Sunreef catamaran named MIDORI. She had a huge platform that would be incredible to cruise the Bahamas on. I found quite a few boats are adding the Abacos to their cruising itineraries, which gives clients more options.”

Megan highlighted some of her favorites: “The 2024 Bahamas Yacht Charter Show was a huge success with more than 80 yachts in the show. With that many yachts in the show, it can be hard to stand out, but there were a few that caught my attention. I enjoyed a lovely lunch onboard ROMEO FOXTROT, as the chef makes the best gluten-free bread. I also attended a high tea party onboard REAL SUMMERTIME, which was extremely fun–and the 120′ motor yacht has just had a refit like I have never seen before!”

“What I took away from this charter show was that there are many nice yachts ready to charter but the crew is just thrilled to show guests the vacation of a lifetime. You can tell they are all excited about their job and can’t wait to show others paradise.” The crew aboard these charter yachts truly seemed to make all the difference.
