About Dakota

DAKOTA is a striking 39m / 128ft sailing yacht designed by the renowned naval architect Ed Dubois, who was tasked with creating a truly world-capable sailing yacht. Built by Fitzroy Yachts in New Zealand with an aluminium hull, DAKOTA combines proven performance with refined comfort. Her interior, originally designed by RWD, was thoughtfully refreshed by H2 Yacht Design in 2022, creating contemporary, welcoming living spaces. Alongside a successful racing career, including participation in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, the Dubois Cup and The Superyacht Cup, DAKOTA offers the comfort and amenities expected of a first-class charter yacht.

Her spacious layout accommodates up to nine guests in four elegant staterooms. On deck, there are plenty of inviting spaces to relax, from the sunken seating area on the foredeck, ideal for sunbathing or enjoying a book with the option of shade, to the sheltered al fresco dining area forward of the twin cockpit. An additional lounge aft provides the perfect place to take in uninterrupted ocean views. For days spent on the water, DAKOTA's hydraulic swim platform offers effortless access for swimming and enjoying her selection of water toys. Throughout the charter, her experienced crew of six will deliver attentive service, ensuring a relaxed and memorable experience on board.

A seasoned yacht captain with command experience across the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and New Zealand. Ella is known for her calm leadership, professional yet relaxed demeanour, and safety-focused approach to operations.

She prides herself on bringing together a skilled and motivated crew, believing that strong team dynamics are essential to delivering a high-quality guest experience. Her leadership ensures smooth vessel operations and a professional yet welcoming onboard atmosphere.

While Ella has been involved in yachting from a very young age, she previously worked as a swim instructor with extensive experience in water safety, making her particularly well-suited to family charters.

Chef: Jordan Cummings

Classically trained and highly accomplished, Jordan has a prestigious background in Michelin-starred restaurants and high-end culinary establishments. With over a decade of culinary expertise, Jordan has honed his skills across multiple continents, including the

UK, France, New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia.

His formal training at renowned institutions like The Ritz London and extensive experience in fine dining and bespoke menu creation make him an exceptional asset to the yacht for guests seeking premium culinary experiences.

Chief Stewardess: Anna Krastina

Highly experienced and detail-oriented Chief Stewardess and sommelier with a robust background in fine dining, hospitality, and charter yachts. With a passion for delivering impeccable service, Anna excels in creating memorable guest experiences, particularly in wine pairing and premium wine service.

Her extensive training in both the UK and New Zealand, combined with her hands-on experience in Michelin-starred environments, makes her an exceptional asset as Chief Stewardess and Sommelier on this luxury yacht.

Mate: Hector Fortuny Bagur

A highly qualified mate with extensive knowledge of the Balearic cruising grounds, Hector is a former dive instructor. He brings a strong safety-focused mindset to all onboard operations and is highly proficient in maintaining watersports and diving equipment to the highest standards.

With extensive charter experience throughout the Mediterranean and Caribbean, as well as numerous yacht deliveries, Hector possesses a broad range of seamanship skills and operational expertise.

Professional, approachable, and guest-focused, Hector is an integral member of the crew, ensuring smooth deck operations while helping create memorable experiences both on and off the water.

Stewardess - Deckand: Tessa Smit

A versatile stewardess who brings a positive, friendly presence to the crew. She has strengths in housekeeping and laundry, maintaining a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail throughout the yacht’s interior.

With hands-on experience across hospitality service and deck support, Tessa adapts seamlessly between guest-facing duties and behind-the-scenes upkeep, ensuring

a smooth daily operation on board.

Friendly and approachable, she contributes to the warm, relaxed atmosphere on board while consistently supporting the yacht’s five-star presentation standard.

Engineer: Tilo Hevenard

An experienced yacht engineer with a strong background in sailing and watersports. A hands-on technical professional, he is known for his exceptional problem-solving abilities, high standards, and proactive approach to every task.

From an early age, Tilo combined his passion for watersports with his interest in engineering, designing and building hydrofoils for kitesurfing as a teenager. This drive to

merge technical innovation with life on the water naturally led him toward a career in the marine industry.

Highly versatile and adaptable, Tilo is comfortable stepping into any department when needed, whether supporting deck operations, assisting with guest activities, or helping wherever required to ensure the yacht runs smoothly.
